The achievements of East Java athletes in the 2012 Riau PON and West Java PON championships in 2016, the medals for East Java pencak silat athletes only experienced an increase in achievements in bronze medals. Therefore, in the sport of pencak silat, it is necessary to evaluate the physical condition of athletes so that in the future East Java pencak silat can win the overall champion in the Papua PON championship in 2021. Based on the explanation above, the researchers made a study entitled "Evaluation of the New Normal Puslatda (PNN). ) Pencak Silat of East Java Province". The purpose of this study was to find out the results of the evaluation of the physical condition of the PNN pencak silat East Java from 2019 to 2021 whether or not the progress was better for the success of the upcoming PON. This research is a type of qualitative research using a descriptive survey approach with a non-experimental evaluation method. This study analyzes and evaluates the results of the physical condition of the PNN pencak silat then matched it with the reference norm of the test. The sample used was 18 male athletes and 11 female athletes of PNN pencak silat East Java. The research instrument used was the Sit-Up, Triple Jump, 20 meter Sprint, Ilinuois Test, MFT test norm table. The results show that abdominal muscle endurance needs to be improved in order to support other physical conditions. Leg muscle power in pencak silat athletes has decreased, so it must be increased again in order to have very good leg muscle explosive power. good, but still needs to be improved again so that there is no increase in the medium category. The agility of a pencak silat athlete has increased in the very good category. At the VO2MAX level, the pencak silat athletes experienced stable and did not experience an increase.
