IDENTIFIKASI BAKAT OLAHRAGA MENGGUNAKAN METODE SPORT SEARCH PADA SISWA SD NEGERI KARANGGAYAM II KABUPATEN SAMPANG

Abstract

Identification of talent or what can be called an effort to search for athlete seeds is one of the tasks of teachers and sports coaches in schools. The purpose of this study was to identify sports talent using the Sport Search method in 5th grade students of SD Negeri Karanggayam II, Sampang Regency. This research includes quantitative descriptive, the purpose of this research is to find out students' talent in sports. The population in this study were students of SD Negeri Karanggayam II, Sampang Regency. The sample for this study used 40 samples from 20 grade 5 students and 20 grade 6 students. The technique used to take research samples was using a total sampling technique. After collecting the data, perform an analysis with a computer software application "sport search", processing based on modifications in data processing. The results of this study are: 1) Identification of sports talent in class 5, opportunity 1 gets the most results, namely Athletics - Sprint Running as many as 13 people (65%) and in opportunity 2 Gymnastics as many as 10 people (50%) 2) Identification of sports talent in grade 6, chances 1 get the most results, namely Athletics - Sprint Running as many as 11 people (55%) and in Gymnastics opportunities as many as 9 people (45%).
