PENGARUH LATIHAN THREE CONE DRILL DAN FIVE CONE DRILL TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KELINCAHAN SISWA EKSTRAKURIKULER FUTSAL MAN KOTA BLITAR

Kelincahan merupakan komponen fisik penting dalam futsal, sementara sebagian pemain ekstrakurikuler MAN Kota Blitar menunjukkan penurunan performa pada aspek tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh latihan Three Cone Drill dan Five Cone Drill terhadap peningkatan kelincahan siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-posttest pada 20 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok melalui Ordinal Pairing. Kedua kelompok menjalani 12 sesi latihan dan kelincahan diukur menggunakan Illinois Agility Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua jenis latihan memberikan peningkatan kelincahan yang signifikan, ditandai dengan penurunan waktu penyelesaian tes pada masing-masing kelompok. Kelompok Three Cone Drill mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,06%, sedangkan kelompok Five Cone Drill sebesar 0,04%. Uji statistik menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara kedua metode. Secara keseluruhan, Three Cone Drill dan Five Cone Drill sama-sama efektif dan dapat dijadikan alternatif program latihan untuk meningkatkan kelincahan pemain futsal.

Abstract

Agility is a key physical component in futsal performance, and several extracurricular futsal players at
MAN Kota Blitar have shown a decline in this aspect. This study aims to examine the effects of the Three Cone
Drill and Five Cone Drill on improving students’ agility. The research employed a quantitative experimental
method with a pretest–posttest design involving 20 students divided into two groups through Ordinal Pairing.
Both groups completed 12 training sessions, and agility was measured using the Illinois Agility Test. The results
indicated that both training methods led to significant improvements in agility, as shown by decreased completion
times in each group. The Three Cone Drill group demonstrated a 0.06% improvement, while the Five Cone Drill
group showed a 0.04% improvement. Statistical tests revealed no significant difference in the effectiveness of the
two methods. Overall, both the Three Cone Drill and Five Cone Drill proved effective and can serve as alternative
training strategies to enhance futsal players’ agility.
