PENGARUH KOMBINASI LATIHAN DARAT DAN AIR DENGAN GAYA BEBAS PADA ATLET KELOMPOK UMUR 8-12 TAHUN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pada penerapan kombinasi latihan darat dan diair terhadap peforma renang gaya bebas sejauh 50 meter terhadap kebugaran jasmani. Fokus penelitian ini di lakukan pada anggota Golden Water Swimming Club Sumenep usia 8-12 tahun. Dalam konteks pembinaan olahraga usia dini, pendekatan yang terstruktur dan berbasis ilmu pengetahuan sangat dibutuhkan agar perkembangan fisik dan teknis atlet dapat tercapai secara optimal dan berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksprerimen (quasi experimental research design) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan 16 atlet Golden Water Swimming Club Sumenep. Instrumen penelitian  berupa  lembar observasi dan pulse oximeter.  Data dianalisis  menggunakan  uji  normalitas dan  uji Paired t-Test dengan  bantuan  perangkat  lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi latihan darat dan air memiliki pengaruh terhadap meningkatkan performa atlet. Kombinasi latihan darat (land-based training) dan latihan di air (water-based training) merupakan pendekatan yang dapat mendukung perkembangan kapasitas fisik dan teknik renang anak. Temuan  ini  memberikan  implikasi  penting  bagi pelatih Golden Water Swimming Club Sumenep dalam meningkatkan performa atlet dan dapatdi terapkan dalam latihan.

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of the application of a combination of land and water training on the performance of 50-meter freestyle swimming on physical fitness. The focus of this study was conducted on members of the Golden Water Swimming Club Sumenep aged 8-12 years. In the context of early childhood sports development, a structured and science-based approach is essential for optimal and sustainable physical and technical development of athletes. This research method uses a quasi-experimental research design with a quantitative approach, involving 16 Golden Water Swimming Club Sumenep athletes. The research instruments were observation sheets and pulse oximeters. Data were analyzed using normality tests and paired t-tests with the help of SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that the combination of land and water training has an effect on improving athlete performance. The combination of land-based training and water-based training is an approach that can support the development of physical capacity and swimming techniques in children. These findings provide important implications for Golden Water Swimming Club Sumenep coaches in improving athlete performance and can be applied in training.
