KAJIAN TINDAK TUTUR TOKOH UTAMA HUA MULAN 花木兰DALAM FILM 《MULAN: RISE OF A WARRIOR》KARYA JINGLE MA 馬楚成 (mǎ chǔchéng)

Menurut Sumarsono, tindak tutur adalah sepenggal tutur yang dihasilkan sebagai bagian dari interaksi sosial. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah: 1) Bagaimana tindak tutur ilokusi tokoh Huā Mùlán花木兰dalam film “Mulan: Rise of a Warrior”?, 2) Bagaimana tindak tutur perlokusi tokoh Huā Mùlán花木兰dalam film “Mulan: Rise of a Warrior”?. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif karena data yang digunakan merupakan tuturan tokoh utama Huā Mùlán花木兰. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teori tindak tutur dari Searle. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif karena subjek yang diteliti berupa tindak tutur tokoh utama Huā Mùlán花木兰dalam film yang berjudul “Mulan: Rise of a Warrior”. Data penelitian merupakan tuturan-tuturan yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data yang peneliti gunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik deskriptif interpretatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini terdiri dari analisis tuturan-tuturan tokoh utama tokoh utama Huā Mùlán花木兰dalam film yang berjudul “Mulan: Rise of a Warrior” yang telah digolongkan dalam jenis-jenis tindak tutur ilokusi dan tindak tutur perlokusi sesuai dengan teori yang dipaparkan. Pada tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdiri dari 42 tuturan tergolong menjadi 4 jenis sebagai berikut: tindak tutur ilokusi direktif yang berjumlah 18 tuturan dengan persentase 43%, tindak tutur ilokusi komisif 5 tuturan dengan persentase 12%, tindak tutur ilokusi representatif dengan jumlah 11 tuturan sebesar 26%, dan tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif yang berjumlah 8 tuturan dengan persentase 19%. Hasil tindak tutur perlokusi dengan total data tuturan, 1 data termasuk dalam tindak tutur perlokusi secara non-verbal dengan persentase 13%, sedangkan pada tindak tutur perlokusi secara verbal yang berjumlah 7 tuturan sebesar 87%. Dapat disimpulkan dari 42 tuturan tindak tutur ilokusi direktif paling banyak muncul karena film yang bergenre kepahlawanan dan terdapat kalimat yang berupa perintah, saran, dan permohonan. Diharapkan pada penelitian selanjutnya mampu memperluas agar tidak hanya terkait pada tindak tutur saja, namun dapat melalui sudut pandang unsur budaya dan feminisme.

Abstract

According to Sumarsono, speech act refers to an act that is produced by a part of social interaction. The aims of the study undertaken are to answer how illocutionary act of Huā Mùlán 花木兰in “Mulan: Rise of a Warrior”movie is, and how perlocutionary act of Huā Mùlán 花木兰 in “Mulan: Rise of a Warrior”movie is. The method used in the study is qualitative method as the data contains of main character’s, Huā Mùlán 花木兰, verbal language. Searle method was used for classififying the result of the study. The study also used descriptive qualitative method because the research’s subject was the speech act of Huā Mùlán 花木兰 in “Mulan: Rise of a Warrior”movie. The data are the dialogue which are conducted by using note taking technique. The data analysis used interpretative technique in this study. The findings consist of analysis of main character, Huā Mùlán 花木兰 in “Mulan: Rise of a Warrior” movie, which has been categorized into illocutionary act’s types and perlocutionary act’s types based on theories of the previous study. The illocutionary speech act consists of 42 speeches which are classified into four types; 18 speeches of directive illocutionary speech act with percentage of 43%, five speeches of commissive illocutionary speech act with percentage of 12%, 11 speeches of representative illocutionary speech act with percentage of 26%, and eight speeches of expressive illocutionary speech act with percentage of 19%. The results of perlocutionary speech act include two speeches; one is non-verbal perlocutionary speech act with percentage of 13%, while the other one is verbal perlocutionary with percentage of 87% that includes seven data. It can be concluded that among 42 speeches, directive illocutionary speech act mostly appeared because of the genre of the movie is heroic. There are also some imperative sentences, suggestions, and requests. The following study is considered to widen the aspect to study so that it is not only related to the speech act, but it is also able to consider the cultural and feminism point of views.
