Abstract

ABSTRAK

Bahasa Mandarin merupakan bahasa internasional yang memiliki penutur terbanyak. Bahasa Mandarin memiliki pengaruh yang besar hampir di setiap negara, tidak terkecuali di Indonesia. Di Indonesia, Bahasa Mandarin diberikan mulai dari jenjang terendah hingga jenjang tertinggi, termasuk di SMA Negeri 1 Puri. Sebagai salah satu bahasa asing yang banyak digemari, mempelajari bahasa Mandarin tentu memiliki sejumlah kesulitan. Adapun penelitian pada siswa kelas X-Bahasa SMA Negeri 1 Puri Mojokerto dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesulitan belajar siswa dalam menghafal kosakata Bahasa Mandarin dan kurangnya fasilitas media yang mendukung siswa dalam mempelajari bahasa Mandarin. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media learn Chinese with tac toe dan mengetahui kualitas media tersebut melalui aspek kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan media. Media learn Chinese with tac toe dikembangkan berdasarkan rancangan penelitian Sugiyono yang telah dimodifikasi. Adapun media learn Chinese with tac toe dikembangkan dalam bentuk tiga dimensi berupa papan permainan dan buku pendamping permainan yang memuat materi pembelajaran Bahasa Mandarin kosakata identitas diri. Hal ini dikarenakan, materi identitas diri merupakan materi yang awal dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Mandarin di kelas X-Bahasa yang dinilai masih kurang penguasaannya. Media learn Chinese with tac toe telah divalidasi oleh kedua validator dan telah diujicobakan kepada siswa kelas X-Bahasa SMA Negeri 1 Puri.

Jenis data yang dipreoleh berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa, hasil validasi media learn Chinese with tac toe oleh validator media 71% (baik) dan ahli materi 91% (sangat baik). Kepraktisan media learn Chinese with tac toe diperoleh presentase sebesar 89,17% (sangat baik sekali) pada kelompok kecil, 94,17% (sangat baik sekali) pada kelompok perseorangan, dan 89,17% (sangat baik sekali) pada kelompok besar. Sedangkan keefektifan media berdasarkan hasil uji t-signifikansi dengan d.b = 29 dan taraf signifikan 5% maka, diperoleh ttabel= 1,70 dan thitung = 21,52. Sesuai dengan hasil uji t-score, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai ttabel 1,70<thitung 21,52. Suatu media dikatakan layak digunakan apabila memenuhi kriteria penilaian terhadap kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan media. Berdasarkan hasil data yang diperoleh, pengembangan media learn Chinese with tac toe telah memenuhi kriteria penilaian pada ketiga aspek.

ABSTRACT

Chinese is an international language which has most speakers. Chinese has a big influence almost in every country, include Indonesia. In Indonesia, Chinese is given from the lowest up to the highest, include in Senior High School 1 Puri. As a foreign language, learning Chinese which be fancied surely has a difficulty. The background of this research conducted for 10th grade students is that they find it’s difficult to memorize Chinese vocabularies given in the class. The aim of this research is development learning Chinese using tac toe media based on Sugiyono design and knowing the quality from the media throughout validity, effectiveness, and practicality. The development of this research is modificated by the previous research according with necessity in this research. Learn Chinese with tac toe modificated onto three dimension, that is board games and the book which containing personal identity vocabularies.This research choose personal identity cause it is the first chapter which learned in 10th grade language program. Learn Chinese with tac toe media got the validity from the media validator and the subject validator before the 10th grade students use it. Therefore, this media is possible to use in the learning Chinese process. While, to knowing the differences student’s pretest post-test.

The kind of data in this research which collected is qualitative and quantitative. Based on the result of this research, the conclusion are media validator got 71% (good), the subject validator got 91% (very good). The practicality of learn Chinese with tac toe media the small group got 94,17% (pretty good), peer viewer got 89,17% (pretty good), and the biggest group got 89,17%. So, the conclusion is learn Chinese with tac toe media is possible to use as a learning Chinese media. Based on t-test the result is d.b=29 with significance extent5% got ts=1,70 and to=21,52. That’s knowing ts<to, so 1,70<21,52. So, the conclusion is by using learn Chinese with tac toe media could decrease the 10th grade students test. The result of the analysis data showing that this media is valid and could to use as a media to learning Chinese.
