Pengaruh Penggunaan Permainan Jenga dan Reinforcement terhadap Kemampuan Pelafalan Bahasa Mandarin Siswa KelS XI APK 2 SMK PGRI 13 Surabaya

Kemampuan pelafalan bahasa Mandarin adalah salah satu kemampuan terpenting dalam mempelajari sebuah bahasa bagi pelajar bahasa Mandarin, terutama siswa SMK. Tak sedikit siswa enggan berbicara bahasa Mandarin karena pelafalan bahasa Mandarin yang sulit. Dengan menciptakan suasana yang menyenangkan, peneliti menggunakan permainan Jenga dan reinforcement. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat tiga rumusan masalah, yaitu: bagaimana pelaksanaan, pengaruh, dan respon siswa kelas XI APK 2 SMK PGRI 13 Surabaya pada penggunaan permainan Jenga dan reinforcement terhadap kemampuan pelafalan bahasa Mandarin.

Penelitian ini menggunakan true experimental design dengan siswa SMK PGRI 13 Surabaya sebagai populasi, siswa kelas XI APK 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI APK 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen menggunakan permainan Jenga dan reinforcement, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah.

Pelaksanaan penggunaan permainan Jenga dan reinforcement terhadap kemampuan pelafalan bahasa Mandarin siswa kelas XI APK 2 SMK PGRI 13 Surabaya berjalan dengan sangat baik. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa 37,5% pelafalan siswa makin membaik, 62,5% siswa menggunakan tata bahasa yang diajarkan dengan baik, dan 87,5% siswa menggunakan kosakata yang telah diajarkan dengan baik.

Setelah melakukan penelitian, peneliti menemukan bahwa permainan Jenga dan reinforcement dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan pelafalan siswa kelas XI APK 2 SMK PGRI 13 Surabaya yang dibuktikan dari hasil t0,05< t0< t0,005 yaitu 1,67 < 2,64 < 2,650 dengan db = 68 dan perbedaan Md = 8,01.

Berdasarkan hasil angket, siswa merespon bahwa penelitian ini dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan pelafalan siswa ke arah positif, entah itu berani maupun aktif melafalkan bahasa Mandarin sebesar 85,8%. Mereka juga merespon bahwa mereka makin tertarik untuk bermain Jenga beserta peraturan hadiah dan hukuman seperti teori reinforcement sebesar 77,7%.

The ability of learning how to pronounce a Chinese spelling is vital, especially for vocational high schoolers. Because Chinese pronunciation is very difficult, many students do not want to speak Chinese. By creating a fun atmosphere, the researcher uses reinforcement and game of Jenga. There are three problems in this researching, there are how to implementation, how can influence of above methods to students of 2nd grade APK 2 class at the PGRI 13 Surabaya Vocational High School, and their response to the influence of the two methods for their pronounce abilities.

This research designs an experiment that treats PGRI 13 Surabaya Vocational High School as the population, 2nd grade APK 2 class as the experimental class, and 2nd grade APK 1 class as the control class. Researcher uses reinforcement and Jenga for learning in experimental class and extracurricular lecture for learning in control class.

The implementation of using Jenga and reinforcement for Chinese pronounce ability of 2nd grade Administrator Office Affairs (APK) 2 class in Vocational High School of PGRI 13 Surabaya brought very good results. The result of the observation proved that 37,5% of the students’ pronunciation gradually improved , 62,5% of the students used grammar structured sentences and 87,5% of the students took the opportunity to use vocabulary that have been already taught in their Chinese classes.

The researcher finds that reinforcement and Jenga influence XI grade APK 2 class positively. The result of t0,05< t0< t0,005 is 1,67 < 2,64 < 2,650 with db = 68 and the difference of Md is 8,01.

According to the students’ responses in the questionnaires, these two methods increase their Chinese pronounce abilities, like: make them more active pronounce Chinese bravely for about 85,8% and interest playing Jenga with reward and punishment regulation, just like operant conditioning abut 77,7%.
