Penerapan Metode Resitasi dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Hanzi pada Siswa Kelas X SMA Wijaya Putra Surabaya Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019

Keterampilan menulis merupakan salah satu pelajaran dalam bahasa termasuk dalam bahasa Mandarin, namun masih banyak siswa yang belum menguasai menulis aksara Cina atau hanzi sesuai dengan urutan goresan yang tepat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membantu siswa kelas X MIPA 3 SMA Wijaya Putra Surabaya yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis hanzi. Hal ini dikarenakan penyebab utamanya adalah penerapan metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat dan minimnya proses pengajaran sehingga siswa kurang memperhatikan pelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti memberikan solusi pembelajaran menggunakan metode resitasi untuk memperbaiki metode pembelajaran sebelumnya. Karena metode resitasi bertujuan untuk membuat hasil belajar siswa menjadi lebih baik dengan latihan-latihan tugas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru dan siswa selama kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode resitasi berlangsung, mendeskripsikan pengaruh metode resitasi terhadap keterampilan menulis hanzi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Mandarin serta mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap keterampilan menulis hanzi Bahasa Mandarin menggunakan metode resitasi.

Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian True Experimental Design yang berjenis One Group Pre-Test Post-Test dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X SMA Wijaya Putra Surabaya sedangkan sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas X MIPA 3 yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling.

Berikut ini adalah hasil jawaban dari rumusan masalah yang pertama. Hasil observasi penelitian aktivitas guru pada pertemuan pertama sebanyak 85,00% dan pertemuan kedua sebanyak 90,00%. Hasil dari kedua pertemuan tersebut jika dilihat dari skala Likert berada pada kriteria “sangat baik”. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapanmetode resitasi berpengaruh positif dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis hanzi bahasa Mandarin pada siswa kelas X MIPA 3. Kemudian hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada pertemuan pertama sudah cukup baik, dibuktikan dengan lembar hasil observasi aktivitas siswa yang mendapatkan hasil persentase sebesar 77,5%, sedangkan pada pertemuan kedua meningkat menjadi 90% dan termasuk pada kriteria sangat baik karena terdapat pada kisaran 81-100%.

Selanjutnya adalah hasil jawaban dari rumusan masalah kedua. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan, perbedaan perolehan rata-rata nilai pre-test siswa sebesar 50,4 dan post-test siswa sebesar 83,7, meningkat lebih baik dari sebelum diberikan perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan t-signifikasi bahwa t-hitung adalah 18,5 > dari t-tabel yaitu 1,3, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang berarti ada perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test, sehingga terbukti penerapanmetode resitasi berpengaruh positif terhadap pembelajaran menulis hanzi pada siswa kelas X MIPA 3 SMA Wijaya Putra Surabaya.

Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket respon siswa diketahui bahwa penerapanmetode resitasi sangat efektif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Mandarin khususnya keterampilan menulis hanzi. Sebanyak 71% siswa menyatakan setuju bahwa metode resitasi membantu untuk mempelajari pembelajaran menulis huruf hanzi. Sebanyak 50% siswa menyatakan setuju bahwa metode resitasi membantu menyelesaikan tugas/ tes yang diberikan oleh guru. Sebanyak 68% siswa menyatakan setuju bahwa metode resitasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menulis huruf hanzi.

ABSTRACT

Writing skills are one of the lessons in languages ​​including in Mandarin, but there are still many students who have not mastered writing Chinese characters or hanzi according to the exact sequence of scratches. This research was conducted to help students of class X MIPA 3 Wijaya Putra High School Surabaya who had difficulty writing hanzi. This is because the main cause is the application of less precise learning methods and the lack of teaching processes so that students pay less attention to the lesson. In this study, researchers provided learning solutions using the recitation method to improve previous learning methods. Because the recitation method aims to make student learning outcomes better with assignment exercises. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of the recitation method on hanzi writing skills in learning Chinese and to describe students responses to Chinese hanzi writing skills using the recitation method.

This study uses the True Experimental Design research which is a type of One Group Pre-Test Post-Test with a quantitative approach. The population used was class X of Wijaya Putra Senior High School Surabaya while the sample used was class X MIPA 3 which amounted to 28 students. The sampling technique uses random sampling techniques.

The following are the results of the answers to the first problem statement. The results of the observation of the teachers activity at the first meeting were 85.00% and the second meeting was 90.00%. The results of the two meetings when viewed from the Likert scale are in the criteria of "very good". This proves that the use of the recitation method has a positive effect on learning Chinese hanzi writing skills in students of class X MIPA 3. Then the results of observations of student activities at the first meeting are quite good, evidenced by the observation sheet results of students who get a percentage of 77.5 %, while at the second meeting it increased to 90% and included in the criteria very well because it was in the range of 81-100%.

Next is the result of the answer to the second problem statement. Based on the results of data analysis that has been done, the difference in the acquisition of the average pre-test score of students is 50.4 and the post-test of students is 83.7, increasing better than before being given treatment. Based on the results of the t-significance calculation that t-count is 18.5> from t-table that is 1.3, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted which means there are significant differences between the results of the pre-test and post-test, so that it is proven the use of recitation methods has a positive effect on learning to write hanzi on class X MIPA 3 of Wijaya Putra Senior High School Surabaya.

Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis of student responses it is known that the use of the recitation method is very effective in learning Mandarin especially hanzi writing skills. As many as 71% of students stated that the recitation method helps to learn the learning to write hanzi letters. As many as 50% of students agreed that the recitation method helped complete the assignments / tests given by the teacher. 68% of students agreed that the recitation method can improve the ability to write hanzi letters.
