EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PLECO (M- LEARNING) DALAM KETERAMPILAN MENULIS HANZI SISWA KELAS XI SMA DHARMA WANITA SURABAYA TAHUN 2022/2023

Abstract

Abstrak Kemampuan menulis hanzi siswa kelas XI SMA Dharma Wanita Surabaya pada proses pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin masih kurang. Hal tersebut yang mendasari peneliti melaksanakan penelitian yang berjudul “Efektivitas Penggunaan Media pleco (m-learning) dalam keterampilan menulis hanzi siswa kelas XI SMA Dharma Wanita Surabaya.” Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu Mendeskripsikan proses penggunaan media pleco (m-learning) dalam keterampilan menulis hanzi, Mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan media pleco (m-learning) terhadap keterampilan menulis hanzi, Mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media pleco berbasis (m-learning) dalam keterampilan menulis hanzi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan teknik kuantitatif yang menerapkan True Experiment Design. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa pre-test dan post test. Media pleco (m- learning) merupakan aplikasi yang ditemukan oleh Michel Love. Hasil analisis observasi guru pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh persentase sebesar 83,75%, hasil analisis observasi aktivitas siswa pada penelitian ini diperoleh persentase sebesar 87,5%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran keterampilan menulis hanzi menggunakan Media pleco (m-learning) termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan perhitungan yang telah dilaksanakan, diperoleh 𝑡𝑜=8,902 dan 𝑑𝑏= 59. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka diketahui nilai 𝑡𝑎=2,391, hasil yang diperoleh setelah melalui proses perhitungan yaitu 𝑡𝑜 lebih besar dari pada 𝑡𝑎 (8,902 ≥2,391). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pre-test dan post test pada pembelajaran menulis hanzi terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan. Hasil analisis angket yang terdiri dari 10 pertanyaan diperoleh tanggapan siswa yang “sangat baik.” Hasil keseluruhan persentase dari masing-masing butir pernyataan berada pada rentang nilai 81%-100% yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil persentase tersebut termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media pleco (m-learning) memiliki pengaruh dan respon yang baik, terhadap keterampilan menulis hanzi Bahasa Mandarin peserta didik kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Dharma Wanita Surabaya. Kata Kunci : Media pleco (m-learning), keterampilan, menulis hanzi Abstract The writing ability of hanzi grade XI students of Dharma Wanita Surabaya High school in the learning process of Mandarin is still lacking. This is what underlies the researchers conducting a study entitled "The Effectiveness of Using Pleco Media (m-learning) in Hanzi Writing Skills for Class XI SMA Dharma Wanita Surabaya." The aims of this study were to describe the process of using pleco media (m-learning) in Hanzi writing skills, to describe the effectiveness of using pleco media (m-learning) for Hanzi writing skills, to describe students' responses to using pleco media based (m-learning) in Chinese writing skills.This research is an experimental research with quantitative techniques that apply True Experiment Design. The model used in this study is a pre-test and post test. Pleco media (m- learning) is an application invented by Michel Love. The results of the analysis of teacher observations in the experimental class obtained a percentage of 83.75%, the results of the analysis of observations of student activities in this study obtained a percentage of 87.5%. This shows that learning Chinese writing skills using pleco media (m- learning) is included in the "very good" category. Based on the results of the analysis and calculations that have been carried out,obtained 𝑡𝑜=8,902 and 𝑑𝑏= 59. Based on these results it is known t table 𝑡𝑎=2,391, the results obtained after going through the calculation process are 𝑡𝑜 bigger than 𝑡𝑎 (8,902 ≥2,391). Based on the results of these calculations, it can be concluded that the results of the pre-test and post-test on learning to write Chinese have a significant effect. The results of the questionnaire analysis consisting of 10 questions obtained student responses that were "very good." The overall percentage results for each statement item are in the range of 81% -100% which indicates that the percentage results are included in the "very good" category. This proves that the use of pleco media (m-learning) has a good influence and response to the Chinese hanzi writing skills of class XI IPA 3 SMA Dharma Wanita Surabaya.
