The type of research used is quantitative with descriptive method. There are 30 students of class VII-E SMP Negeri 33 Surabaya as the subject. The instrument of this study is problem-solving skills test sheet and response questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique of this study are analysis of the results of socio-scientific issue (SSI) article validation, analysis of the problem-solving skills, and analysis of the response questionnaire. The result of this research shows the average score on each problem-solving stage. It consist of: (1) the identifying problem stage is very skilled category with score 87; (2) the setting goal stage is skilled category with score 74; (3) the planning solution stage is skilled category with score 79; (4) the determining solution stage is very skilled category with score 86; and (5) the reviewing stage is skilled category with score 70. The problem-solving skills of class VII-E SMP Negeri 33 Surabaya as a whole has a score is 79 with skilled category. The learning process with using socio-scientific issue (SSI) article gets a positive response from students, the avarage percentage of student respon is 86% categorized very well. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were class VII B students of SMP Negeri 1 Paciran for the academic year 2020/2021 with a sample of 30 students. The sample was determined by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical processing. The results showed that the percentage score of students' creative thinking skills on indicators of fluency was 87.6%, original thinking was 52%, flexible thinking was 68.5%, and elaboration was 67%. Based on the analysis of gender differences. the ability of male students on the fluency indicator was 87.14%; originality 53.57%; flexibility 63.52%; elaboration 70%. The ability of female students on the fluency indicator is 88.13%; originality 50.63%; flexibility 72.81%; elaboration 64.38%. In terms of gender differences, the indicators of fluency and flexibility of female students are higher than male students. Originality and elaboration indicators of male students are higher than female students. This study used case studies at State Junior High School 1 Sidoarjo with the participants of this study were 3 science teachers and 15 students 7th grade. Data collection techniques used observation, documentation, and interviews then analyzed descriptively to got more detailed information about SPS’ implementations. The study’s instruments were teacher and student questionnaires. The results showed that some indicators of science process skills decreased from offline to online learning. The most significant decreased on formulating hypotheses, experimenting, identifying variables, and interpreting data. Only one of three teachers has capability to implement it. Meanwhile, SPS’ indicators that has been implemented optimally by all teachers were observing, measuring, inferring, and communicating. The barriers of the SPS’ implementations in online learning were time, student condition, and teachers SPS’ ability. This research was a pre-experimental design research with the design of "One Group Pretest Posttest Design". The research subjects were students of class VIIIA at SMP Negeri 58 Surabaya. The results showed that students' learning motivation increased from the initial motivation of 74.22% in the strong category to the final motivation of 85.72% in the very strong category. N-Gain test student learning outcomes obtained 0.81 in the high category. Student response to the learning of liquid pressure material using animated video media obtained a positive response of 96.5% in a very strong predicate. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with coding system. The objects in this study were the Class VII, VIII and IX IPA Electronic School Books (BSE) with the criteria for the 2013 curriculum books published by the Center for Curriculum and Books in the form of electronic books. The instrument used in this study was the observation sheet used to analyze the availability of aspects of Science Process Skills. The data analysis technique used iscontent analysis. The results from this study are indicators of science process skills (SPS) which are available in different books. In the three books, the most common indicator is data interpretation with an average percentage of 87.63%, then formulating hypotheses with an average percentage of 8.26%, designing experiments with an average percentage of 3.42%, and for indicators formulate a problem with an average percentage of 1.6%. This study adopted a cross-sectional survey design research method with a one-shot survey or test. This study involved 30 seventh grade students of SMPN 62 Surabaya who had received learning materials on global warming. Data collection is based on random sampling technique using a description test instrument with SSI articles. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the quality of students' argumentation skills was still at level 1 and level 2. Based on the argumentation indicators according to Toulmin's Argumentation Pattern, the overall student's argumentation ability was in the poor category, with an average percentage of 57.33% with exposure to each argumentation aspect, claim aspect. in the sufficient category with an average percentage of 63.33%, the data aspect in the less category with an average percentage of 58.88%, the warrant aspect in the less category with an average percentage of 58.88%, the backing aspect in the less with an average percentage of 54.44%, and the qualifier aspect in the less category with an average percentage of 51.11%. Data collection techniques using survey techniques that use instruments questionnaire where scale 5 Likert and open. The technique of determining participants using purposive sampling. There are two data analyses of Miles and Huberman’s data analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques through percentage calculations. The results of the research showed their perception preference for video conference media is very helpful for them in learning online and fostering the interest of learners. Then in the pedagogy aspect, the teacher gives a clear explanation of the material, but the use of video conference has not been fully effective due to connection quality problems which ultimately cut learning time and interaction such as feedback and discussions are only given if there is time left in learning. The selection of this school is based on the ranking of the best public junior high schools in Mojokerto City which refers to the results of the 2019 National Examination, namely SMPN 2 Mojokerto has an average of 70.40 with 284 participants and SMPN 4 Mojokerto has an average of 65.01 with 239 participants. Instruments in this research is a teacher and student questionnaire which is presented in the form of Google Forms and hard files. Data collection techniques in this study were unstructured interviews, observation, and documentation. The research design used Pre-Experimental Design through One Group Pretest-Posttest Design The research respondents were 32 students of class VIII. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, observation of teacher and student activities, and evaluation tests. The questionnaire analysis technique uses a Likert scale which is calculated to increase studen’t motivation using the N-Gain test and is interpreted into the N-Gain category. Analysis of student activities using observation sheets which are interpreted into the criteria for student activity scores, and analysis of evaluation tests. Through the observation sheet, it can be seen from the students' activities are classified as very good after using the SAVI learning model. The results showed that students' learning motivation increased by 78.16 (N-Gain category: high) with 23 students being highly motivated and 9 students being moderately motivated. The implementation of learning using the SAVI learning model is in the very good category. Classical completeness reached 81.25%. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research instruments consist of interview instruments and student response questionnaires. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation studies and were supported by the distribution of student response questionnaires. The results showed that science learning with an inquiry model during the Covid-19 pandemic for global warming materials reached 42,86%, light materials and optical devices reached 57,14%, and food additives material reached 57,14%. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the implementation of science learning with the inquiry model has not been carried out well when online at SMP Negeri 13 Gresik. Factors that influence the non implementation of science learning activities using the inquiry model when online are the lack of facilitation of RPP and LKPD which contain student inquiry activities well when online. However, the results of the analysis of student responses indicate that students feel happy and agree if learning science with the inquiry model is reapplied because students can play an active role during online learning activities. This study used a case study approach with the research subject is one science teacher who used the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model in online learning on three learning topics and five students of VIII-A class of Muhammadiyah 2 Taman Junior High School who attended the learning. The instrument consisted of learning plan observation sheets and interviews with the data collection techniques used were observations, document analysis, and interviews. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely by describing student activities during online learning. The subject of this research were students of SMPN 1 Sidoarjo class 7C and 7E totaling 60 students. The data analysis technique through 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the LMS Google Classroom was vital and helped students to show their learning activeness during online learning. The number of students who are active when learning using Google Classroom is 75,5%. Problems arise during online learning were related as running out of quota, low signal, smartphone errors, attending family events, not being able to access questions that have been assigned and not checking new assignments in Google Classroom. Knowing the effect of implementing a Home Laboratory on the topic of heat transfer on the science process skills of SMP Negeri 60 Surabaya students during the covid 19 pandemic is the purpose of this research. Quasi experimental was used as the design and subjects of this study were students of class VII-A, VII-B, and VII-C of SMP Negeri 60 Surabaya for the academic year 2020/2021. The sample selection using random sampling technique or random selection of as many as twenty students. The instruments used are test and non-test with quantitative descriptive methods. The tests are in the form of pretest and posttest with multiple choice reasons, while the non-test is Home Laboratory performance assessment and student worksheet assessment. The data collection technique used a written test in the form of reasoned multiple-choice questions, the results were analyzed through percentages and then projected on improving science process skills. The interpretation criteria of the results of the analysis of each aspect of the science process skills of each student experienced an increase from the pretest. The average value of the performance score in each Home Laboratory practicum is said to exceed the KKM, which is 91.6. The research design used a one group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected at SMPN 3 Sidoarjo which was taken from two classes, namely class VIII-B as the experimental class and class VIII-D as the replication class where each class had 25 students. The results of this study are in the form of increased understanding of students' concepts and student responses related to applied learning. The results of the level of understanding of students' concepts about vibrations and waves were tested with N-Gain and the results were that more than half of the students in each class were in the high category. This value indicates that the level of students' understanding has increased. Students' responses to the learning process can be seen from the recapitulation of the questionnaires filled out by students after attending the lesson until the end. The recapitulation results show a positive response and all indicators of the success of the learning process are in the very good category. The data analysis technique used in this method is descriptive qualitative. The assessment instrument obtained in this study was in the form of data on students' understanding abilities in making mind maps, questionnaires and interviews. The data obtained will be carried out based on rubric analysis related to students' understanding of concepts through the creation of a mind map project. The research subjects were students of class VIII-E at SMP Negeri 2 Bojonegoro which opened 32 students. The results showed that the use of learning outcomes in the form of mind maps helped students understand the concept of learning in the human excretory material system. As for the results of the study, it can be seen that student learning outcomes in understanding concepts to produce mind map products are in good category. The overall ability of students in making mind maps is 25% very good, 67% in good category and 8% with categories. The participants of this study were class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pacitan, class VIII F (experimental class), and class VII G (control class). Data collection techniques using motivational questionnaires and giving pretest and posttest. The questionnaire instrument was designed according to the indicators of learning motivation and the tests (pretest and posttest) referred to indicators of cognitive learning outcomes. The statistical test of cognitive learning outcomes between classes VIII F and VIII G also showed consistent results where the average increase test for classes VIII F and VIII G gave the results that there was a difference in the average increase in average between classes VIII F and VIII G with the (p&lt;0.01). The conclusions of this study indicate that the Quizizz evaluation media affects learning motivation and student learning outcomes. This research implies that the teacher can determine interesting and motivating media to be used in science learning so that it can affect student learning outcomes for the better. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of online science learning on the implementation of practicum in several East Java junior high schools. This research used surveyo research with descriptive method (interviews and questionnaires). The results of this study indicate that the impact of online learning in science practicum activities is the implementation of practicum activities carried out individually in their respective homes through supporting applications. The explanation of the practicum activities is carried out directly by the teacher through Google Meet/Zoom and the teacher also provides a practicum module or student worksheets during the practicum. Applications used during online practicum activities include Zoom, Google Meet, Micorsoft 365, Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Sway, PhET Simulations, and WhatsApp. Another consequence of online learning is the online reporting of practicum activities in the form of videos and portfolio sheets. After collecting the practicum report, the teacher gives an evaluation at the next meeting. The positive impact of online practicum activities is increasing independent learning skills, creativity, and digital literacy. There are 15 students from the 2nd grade of SMPN 1 Purwosari academic year of 2020/2021 at even semester that they had been being the subject of the research. This research classified as pre-experimental research; one group pretest-posttest design. The learning was using digital modules through Whatsapp Messenger media for coordination, coordination that occurs six times, including the pretest and posttest giving, as well as student response questionnaires. The response' questionnaire contains the assessment of learners on the use of e-module based on deductive approaches. The results of various research data processing show that the effectiveness of digital modules is fairly good. The N-gain score obtained a moderate category result. Paired Sample T-test obtained a significance level result (effective). While on the response questionnaire score the response was in the very good category. This shows that there is a difference in the test results of students due to the use of digital modules. The research does at SMPN 1 Ploso - Jombang. Samples use a simple random sampling technique. The number of samples used was 30 students consisting of 15 female students and 15 male students. The type of research used is pre-experimental, namely through interviews with science subject teachers and experiments with one group pretest-posttest design. The instruments used include the Learning Implementation Plan, Student Worksheets, and pretest-posttest questions. The result of this research is that there is a significant influence on the guided inquiry learning method on students' critical thinking skills. The results of the second study showed that the average N-Gain score of female students is higher. The difference in the N-Gain scores of female students and male students showed a significant difference.
