Abstract

In construction projects with a large scale of work and requiring speed in the construction of work, heavy equipment is very important as supporting the progress of speed and making it easier to do the work so that the expected results can be achieved easily and on time. This research uses comparative analysis in managing data and information obtained from five scientific articles from previous research. This research in the form of comparative productivity analysis of bulldozers A, B and C with different types of objectives is to know the productivity and cost of different bulldozer types will later be known which type of bulldozer is the most productive, the most effective time and the cheapest cost. From these five journals the authors used the same productivity calculation method by calculating the time period (hourly) divided by CT (Cycle Time), then multiplied by capacity (bucket, tub, or blade). And from the comparison of bulldozer machine A, B and C get different results from each journal due to the different land area. Thus the conclusions of the five journals are from the first journal of the most productive bulldozer using type B, from the second most productive bulldozer journal using type A, from the third most productive bulldozer journal using type C, from the fourth most productive bulldozer journal using type B and from the fifth most productive bulldozer journal using type A.
