CALCULATION ANALYSIS OF RETAINING WALLS SECANT PILE TYPE IN APARTMENT BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

During the construction of the Kyo Society Apartment Building in the city of Surabaya, different heights of the groundwater surface were found and these differences influenced the execution of the basement work. The project uses the direct excavation method, because the high water content of this method is considered less effective and bad. Based on the results of field, research at the depth of the soil obtained N-SPT<10, with such values then known it is not recommended to perform direct excavation method. To solve the problem, the excavation method has been converted to the method of adding the retaining walls secant pile type.
In conducting the analysis method secant pile performed with manual calculations paying attention to the condition of the soil and the load that exists around the building of the wall of the land holding. After obtaining the results of the analysis of the parameters of the required soil then the results are used to obtain the result of the ultimate moment for the next will be analyzed and planned the repetition of the retaining wall secant pile type.
The calculation results obtained after the analysis obtains the value of the active soil coefficient of 0.78 and the passive soil factor of 1.22. The load used was 43.09 kN/m2 which is the calculation of a two-storey ruko on one side of the ground wall. Besides, the D13-100 and the 16D25 stacks of the main stacks.
