Abstract

The construction industry is influenced by the development of the Industry 4.0 era, which integrates construction processes into digital systems. This condition requires the construction world to improve productivity. However, obstacles such as the complexity of building structures, material usage efficiency, land limitations, and other hindrances affect productivity improvement. This thesis focuses on the case study of the implementation of 5D Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the IGD RSUD Ploso Building Project in Jombang Regency. It integrates the conventional building planning process into the BIM system. The method used involves integrating 2D DED Drawings into 3D models using Revit for structure, MEP, architecture modeling, calculating work volumes, and cost estimation. Ms. Project for scheduling, and Navisworks for 5D BIM integration and simulation. The analysis results show that Revit can calculate the concrete work volumes with the largest discrepancy compared to the contractor’s volume, which is 0.19% for pile caps, 4.66% for beams, 1.56% for floor slabs, and 1.47% for columns.
