PENERAPAN DIREKSI DALAM PENYAJIAN KARYA MUSIK BROTHER KOMPOSER ADI PRASETYA

Abstract

“Brother” (kata dalam bahasa inggris yang berarti Adik   laki-laki).  Kata tersebut dipilih oleh komposer karena merupakan sebuah pengalaman hidup komposer yang kehilangan orang terdekat  yaitu adik laki–lakinya. Karya musik “Brother” ini dikemas dalam bentuk chamber orchestra, dan akan dipimpin oleh seorang konduktor. Seorang konduktor memerlukan ilmu yang banyak dan memadai. Selain itu, seorang konduktor juga harus memiliki sifat leadership, ketrampilan berkomunikasi yang baik dan cerdas, baik berkomunikasi secara verbal maupun non verbal. Bentuk musik karya Brother adalah bentuk variasi. Jenis variasi berpangkal dari tiga unsur pokok musik yaitu melodi, irama, harmoni/aransemen. Karya musik “Brother” terdiri atas 160 birama. Tempo yang digunakan adalah tempo Adegio, Allegro, dan Moderato Tangga nada yang dimainkan adalah tangga nada G mayor, A mayor, D mayor, B mayor, F mayor. Serta menggunakan tanda birama 4/4 , 2/4, dan 3/4. Dinamika yang mendukung penciptaan suasana yang diinginkan, seperti piano, pianisisimo, forte, mezzoforte, fortesisimo, cressendo, dan decressendo. Sedangkan untuk penulisan tentang direksi, komposer terinspirasi dari melihat konduktor dalam negeri dan luar negeri yang pada saat mengabah suatu kelompok musik dapat dengan baik memimpin pertunjukan tersebut. Dalam mendireksi ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan, langkah-langkah mendireksi dimulai dari mengetahui alur matra yang digunakan, gesture saat mengabah, gerakan attack gerakan release dan mimik atau ekspresi. Dengan terciptanya karya musik “Brother” ini, semoga bisa menjadi referensi bagi para mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum agar lebih mencintai dan memerhatikan musik, khususnya musik klasik karena musik klasik memiliki animo yang kecil di indonesia.
