PENGEJAWANTAHAN BULLYING MELALUI KOREOGRAFI TUNGGAL DALAM KARYA TARI “SUDUT”

Abstract

Bullying adalah perilaku yang agresif, mengganggu, memaksa yang dilakukan secara berulang-ulang oleh sekelompok atau seorang yang memiliki kekuasaan terhadap seorang yang lebih lemah dengan tujuan menyakiti orang tersebut. Dampak dari tindakan bullying mengakibatkan psikis korban menjadi stres, depresi, bahkan trauma untuk berteman sehingga menjadi pribadi yang tertutup dan penyendiri. Dampak dari bullying tersebut menjadi gagasan awal koreografer dalam menciptakan sebuah karya tari, yang mengandalkan perasaan dan khayalan sebagai eksplorasi gerak tari.
Adapun kajian teori yang relevan untuk dijadikan landasan dalam menyuguhkan konsep pada karya tari, seperti teori tentang koreografi oleh Sal Murgianto, La Meri, teori tentang pengejawantahan oleh Alma M. Hawkins, dengan judul “Moving From Within”. Landasan tersebut bukan hanya sebagai kumpulan teori untuk mendukung pengungkapan karya tari secara tertulis namun juga sebagai hasil telaah kritis terhadap suatu permasalahan. Landasan-landasan tersebut harus didasari argumentasi akademis.
Metode yang digunakan dalam karya tari ini adalah metode konstruksi, yang terdiri dari rangsang awal, tipe tari, mode penyajian, hingga sampai tahap eksplorasi dan kerja studio. Tahapan tersebut memiliki proses kreatif serta pemikiran baru tentang mewujudkan karya seni tari.
Dalam penulisan ini, membahas tentang isi dan bentuk pada karya tari yang mengangkat dampak bullying sebagai fokus karya, serta mendeskripsikan hasil visualisasi terhadap simbol-simbol gerak tari.
Dari berbagai proses yang telah dilakukan, koreografer menemukan sesuatu yang baru sebagai bentuk pertunjukkannya agar berbeda dengan karya tari yang lain yaitu “sudut”. Sudut sebagai media pengembangan gerak serta sebagai ruang eksplorasi yang kemudian membantu koreografer dalam penciptaan gerak baru.

Bullying is an aggressive behavior, disruptive, forcing conducted repeatedly by a group or a person who has power over a weaker with the aim of hurting the person. The impact of bullying that resulted in the victim’s psychic becoming stress, depression, even trauma to make friends, so that become a personal closed and loner. The impact of bullying, become the original idea for creating a choreography dance work, which feelings and fantasies as an exploration of dance.
The study of relevant theory has to be relied on peeling concept at dance work, such as the theory of choreography by Sal Murgianto, La Meri, the theory of the embodiment by Alma M. Hawkins, entitled "Moving From Within ". The theoretical basis not just as a collection of theory to support disclosure in writing of dance works, but also as a result of a critical study of the problem. Foundations must be based on academic arguments.
The methods that used in this dance work are the construction method, which consists of the initial stimulation, the type of dance, fashion presentation, until the exploratory stage and studio work. These stages have the creative process as well as new thinking about realizing a work of art of dance.
In this paper, discusses the content and form of the dance piece that elevates the impact of bullying as the focus of the work, and to describe the results of visualization of the symbols dance.
The various processes that have been performed, choreographer find something new as a form of spectacle that is different from other dance works called "corner". Angle as media development as well as space exploration motion which then helps choreographers in the creation of a new motion.
