LAGU “KEDIRI KUTHANE” KARYA SOEPARWOTO (TINJAUAN TEKNIK PENCIPTAAN DAN BENTUK LAGU)

Abstract

Soeparwoto adalah salah satu tokoh musik yang mempunyai andil besar dalam bidang musik terutama musik vokal di Kediri. Hingga saat ini beliau masih aktif dalam mengajar vokal dan menciptakan lagu. Sudah 74 lagu ciptaan beliau dan salah satunya yaitu lagu yang berjudul Kediri Kuthane. Lagu tersebut merupakan salah satu lagu fenomenal yang sering digunakan dalam acara  tertentu di Kediri. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut penulis menentukan fokus permasalahan sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana biografi singkat Soeparwoto pencipta lagu Kediri Kuthane? (2) Bagaimana latar belakang dan konsep Soeparwoto menciptakan lagu Kediri Kuthane? (3) Bagaimana bentuk lagu Kediri Kuthane karya Soeparwoto ditinjau dari teori bentuk lagu?
Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  teori tentang struktur musik dan bentuk lagu. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Untuk mencapai validitas data, penulis melakukan triangulasi data, triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Soeparwoto merupakan pengajar vokal sekaligus pencipta lagu yang hingga saat ini masih aktif menciptakan lagu. Lagu Kediri Kuthane beliau dedikasikan kepada Kota Kediri dan masyarakatnya, dimana lagu ini mengangkat tentang potensi yang ada di daerah Kediri. Berdasarkan dari teori membuat lagu, lagu Kediri Kuthane ciptaan Soeparwoto lebih cenderung menggunakan metode membuat teks terlebih dahulu setelah itu baru menentukan melodinya atau disebut dengan kemampuan memberikan melodi atas teks. Lagu Kediri Kuthane merupakan bentuk lagu 3 bagian yang mempunyai struktur kalimat A B A’. Pada lagu Kediri Kuthane hanya terdiri dari 2 motif yang termasuk dalam jenis pengolahan motif sekuens. Pada bagian kalimat A merupakan sekuens murni (tidak merubah interval) dan untuk kalimat B, serta A’ merupakan sekuens variabel (beberapa nada pokok mengalami variasi).

Soeparwoto is one of the musical figures who have contributed very big in a music, especially music vocal in Kediri. Until now, he has remained active in teaching vocal and composing songs. His creation is already 74 songs and one of them is a song called Kediri Kuthane, that song is one of the phenomenal songs that are often used in certain events in Kediri. Based on this background, the author determines the focus of the problem as follows: (1) How full biography Soeparwoto songwriter Kediri Kuthane ? (2) How the background and concept Soeparwoto created the song Kediri Kuthane ? (3) How the song Kediri Kuthane by Soeparwoto of the theory of the song form?.
The theoretical basis of this research is the theory of the structure of music and song form. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, documentation, and literature. To achieve the validity of the data, the authors conducted a data triangulation, triangulation methods, and triangulation of sources.
The results showed that Soeparwoto a vocal teacher songwriter who until now actively creating songs. The song Kediri Kuthane he dedicated to the Kediri and society, in which the song was raised potential that exists n the area Kediri. Based on the theory of making a song, the song Kediri Kuthane Soeparwoto creation are more likely to use the method makes the text beforehand afterwards determines the melody or called with the ability to provide the melody of the text. The song Kediri Kuthane is a three-part of song form that has the sentence stucture A B A’ on the song Kediri Kuthane only consisted of two repeated motifs and using sequences. Where in section A sentence is a pure sequence (no chance interval) and for the sentence B, and A’ is a variable sequences (some basic tone undergo of variations).
