Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Pada Materi Mitigasi dan Adaptasi Bencana Alam Kelas X Di SMAN 16 Surabaya

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran geografi yang terjadi di SMAN 16 Surabaya,menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan siswa di kelas X saat pembelajaran geografi masih kurang, serta hasil belajar  sebagian besar siswa masih banyak yang dibawah KKM. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu cara yang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan di atas adalah dengan cara mengembangkan LKS dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan : (1) mengetahui kelayakan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada materi mitigasi dan adaptasi bencana alam kelas X di SMAN 16 Surabaya, (2) mengetahui aktivitas siswa setelah menggunaan  Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasisContextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), (3) mengetahui aktivitas guru setelah menggunakan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), (4) mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL).

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan dan model pengembangan menggunakan 4-D. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA 6 sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas X MIA 7 sebagai kelas kontrol di SMAN 16 Surabaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, lembar validasi, angket keaktifan siswa, pretest postest, dan observasi.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) LKS berbasis CTL layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dengan penilaian ahli media sebesar 78,82%, ahli materi sebesar 85,71%, penilaian perangkat pembelajaran oleh guru geogarfi sebesar 90,76% dengan rata-rata nilai kelayakan sebesar 85,09% maka termasuk kriteria sangat layak. (2) Dengan menggunakan uji independent Sample t-test menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikasi antara kelas X MIA 6 (eksperimen) dan kelas X MIA 7 (kontrol). Hasil belajar siswa menggunakan LKS berbasis CTL lebih baik daripada pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan LKS berbasis CTL. Sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 86,66% bila dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 50%. (3) Hasil analisis aktivitas siswa dikelas eksperimen selama menggunakan LKS berbasis CTL mampu membuat siswa aktif daripada dikelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan LKS berbasis CTL. (4) Aktivitas guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dikelas eksperimen sangat baik, kemampuan guru selama mengajar dikelas juga baik.

Geography learning activities that occur at SMAN 16 Surabaya, shows that active students in class X when learning geography is still lack, as well as learning outcomes most students are still much below the KKM. Therefore we need a proper way to solve the above problems is to develop LKS approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). The purpose of this study was: (1) know the feasibility of Student Worksheet (LKS) based Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on the material mitigation and adaptation of natural disasters Class X SMAN 16 Surabaya, (2) determine the activities of students after uses Student Worksheet ( LKS) based Contextual Teaching and learning (CTL), (3) determine the activities of teachers after using student Worksheet (LKS) based Contextual Teaching and learning (CTL), (4) determine student learning outcomes after using student Worksheet (LKS) is based Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL).

This research is research and development and model development using 4-D. Subjects in this study were students of class X MIA 6 as an experimental class, and the class X MIA 7 as the control class in SMAN 16 Surabaya. Data were collected by interview, validation sheet, student activity questionnaire, pretest posttest, and observation.

The results showed that (1) LKS-based CTL eligible for use in learning, the media expert assessment by 78.82%, amounting to 85.71% of matter expert, the assessment of learning by teachers geogarfi of 90.76% with an average value of a feasibility amounting to 85.09%, it included a very decent criteria. (2) By using the independent test Sample t-test showed that there is a significance difference between class X MIA 6 (experiment) and class X MIA 7 (control). The results of student learning using CTL-based LKS is better than learning without the use of CTL-based worksheets. While the experimental class classical completeness of 86.66% when compared to control class by 50%. (3) The results of the analysis of activity of students during class experiment using CTL-based LKS makes the students active than the control class that does not use a CTL-based worksheets. (4) Activity of teachers in learning activities in class is very good experiment, the ability of a teacher for teaching in class is also good.
