Abstrak

Kecamatan Sedati merupakan penghasil ikan bandeng terbesar di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hasil produksi ikan bandeng yang melimpah ini melatarbelakangi munculnya home industri pengolahan ikan bandeng di kecamatan ini.Kecamatan ini memiliki 40 home industri pengolahan ikan bandeng. Keberadaan home industri pengolahan ikan bandeng di Kecamatan Sedati dipengaruhi oleh modal ekonomi dan modal manusia.Modal manusia dan modal ekonomi mampu menghambat ataupun mendorong eksistensi home industri tersebut, oleh karena itu peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal ekonomi dan modal manusia terhadapeksistensi home industri pengolahan ikan bandeng Kecamatan Sedati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal ekonomi dan modal manusia terhadap eksistensi home industri pengolahan ikan bandeng Kecamatan Sedati Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey dengan metode analisis statistik kuantitatif dengan teknik skoring.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa modal ekonomi yang mendukung eksistensi home industri pengolahan ikan bandeng antara lain adalah bahan baku dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 70,8% , pemasaran memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 76,3% dan teknologi/alat memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 79%, sedangkan yang menghambat adalah modal usaha dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 53,2% dan pendapatan dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 53%. Modal manusia yang mendukung eksistensi home industri pengolahanikan bandeng antara lain adalah jumlah tenaga kerja dengan nilai rata-rata 82%, pendidikan tenaga kerja dengan nilai rata-rata 73% dan kemudahan mendapatkan tenaga kerja dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 70%, sedangkan yang menghambat eksistensi home industri pengolahan ikan bandeng antara lain usia tenaga kerja dengan nilai rata- rata sebesar 52,5% dan kualitas tenaga kerja dengan nilai rata- rata sebesar 52%.

Abstract

Subdistrict Sedati isthe biggest bandeng fish producer in Sidoarjo.The plentiful fish production is cause appearance of home fish processing industry in this district. This district has 40 bandeng fish processing home industries. The existence of bandeng fish processing home industries in the District Sedati are influenced by economic capital and human capital. Human capital and economic capitalable to inhibit or encourage the existence of the home industry, therefore the researchers is interested to know the effect of economic capital and human capital to the existence of bandeng fish processing home industries at District Sedati. The goals of this study areto determine the effect of economic capital and human capital to the existence of bandeng fish processing home industry at Sedati District of Sidoarjo. This research is a survey research with quantitative statistical analysis methods usingtechniquesscoring.

These results indicate that the economic capital that supports the existence of bandengfish processing home industries, are the raw materials with an average value of 70.8%, marketing has an average value of 76.3% and technology / equipment has an average value average by 79%, while the hamper is a venture capital with an average value of 53.2% and revenue by the average value of 53%. Human capital that supports the existence of bandeng fish processing home industry include the number of workers with the average value of 82%, workforce education with the average value of 73% and the ease of getting a workforce with an average value of 70%, while the inhibits the existence of home fish processing industry include age workforce with an average value of 52.5% and the quality of the workforce with the average score of 52%.
