KONTRIBUSI INDUSTRI PENGOLAHAN MINYAK KAYU PUTIH TERHADAP PENDAPATAN RUMAH TANGGA DI DESA SIDOHARJO KECAMATAN PULUNG KABUPATEN PONOROGO

Abstrak
Mayoritas penduduk Desa Sidoharjo merupakan karyawan pabrik minyak kayu putih. Industri minyak kayu
putih memiliki keterbatasan pada produksinya. Bahan baku yang digunakan sangat bergantung pada musim. di musim
hujan daun kayu putih cepat busuk dan stok minyak daun kayu putih untuk industri yang di produksinya sedikit 2.325
kg. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Karakteristik penduduk di Desa Sidoharjo (umur, tingkat
pendidikan, jumlah keluarga, pengalaman usaha atau pekerja sampingan). 2) Jumlah produksi,pendapatan dan biaya
pengeluaran produksi persekali dan pertahun pengolah minyak kayu putih. 3) Kontribusi pendapatan rumah tangga
pengolah minyak kayu putih.
Jenis penelitian ini yakni penelitian survey. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara serta observasi dengan alat
pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian
ini bertempat di Desa Sidoharjo, Kecamatan Pulung, Kabupaten Ponorogo jumlah sampel yang di gunakan 115 dari
populasi 1150 orang..
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) karakteristik penduduk Desa Sidoharjo, Kecamatan Pulung,
Kabupaten Ponorogo mayoritas umur produktif 15-60 Tahun dengan tingkat pendidikan yaitu SMA, Jumlah anggota
keluarga dikategori keluarga kecil, Penduduk Desa Sidoharjo,Kecamatan Pulung,Kabupaten Ponorogo cukup
berpengalaman dalam melakukan usaha selama 3-6 tahun dan pekerjaan sampingan yang paling banyak adalah petani
jagung. 2) Jumlah persekali produksi 185kg atau 50150kg/tahun dengan jumlah pendapatan dari industri pengolahan
minyak kayu putih adalah persekali produksi Rp. 33.625.999 atau Rp. 8.919.769.202/tahun dengan total pengeluaran
persekali produksi Rp. 18.174.001 dan pertahunnya Rp. 5.122.230.70. 3) Kontribusi penghasilan rumah tangga di Desa
Sidoharjo, Kecamatan Pulung, Kabupaten Ponorogo yakni 86,08%.

Abstract
The majority of the residents of Sidoharjo Village are employees of the eucalyptus oil factory. The eucalyptus
oil industry has limitations on its production. The raw materials used depend on the season. In the rainy season,
eucalyptus leaves rot quickly and the stock of eucalyptus leaf oil for industry is only 2,325 kg. This study aims to
determine 1) the characteristics of the population in Sidoharjo Village (age, education level, number of families,
business experience or side workers). 2) Total production, income and production costs per year and per year of
eucalyptus oil processing. 3) Contribution of household income of eucalyptus oil processing.
This type of research is survey research. Collecting data through interviews and observations with data
collection tools using questionnaires using quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. This study took place in
Sidoharjo Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency. The number of samples used was 115 from a population of 1150
people.
The results show that 1) the characteristics of the population of Sidoharjo Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo
Regency are the majority of productive age 15-60 years with an education level of SMA, Number of family members in
the category of small family, Residents of Sidoharjo Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency are quite experienced
in doing business for 3-6 years and most of the side jobs are corn farmers. 2 The amount of per production is 185kg or
50150kg/year with the total income from the eucalyptus oil processing industry is Rp. 33,625,999 or Rp.
8,919,769,202/year with a total expenditure of Rp. 18,174,001 and annually Rp. 5,122,230,708 . 3) The contribution of
household income in Sidoharjo Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency is 86.08%.
