Keefektifan Pembelajaran Daring Geografi Pada Masa Pandemi Di SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) atau yang biasa kita sebut virus corona telah melanda dunia saat ini dan telah tersebar ke seluruh dunia tak terkecuali Indonesia. Sehingga pemerintah menerapkan pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB). Akibatnya semua kegiatan dilakukan dari rumah, begitupula pendidikan. PSBB ini juga berdampak pada pembelajaran yang terjadi di sekolah, salah satunya yaitu di SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya. Hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran geografi di kelas XI IS 2 saat pembelajaran daring  menurun, dibandingkan  saat pembelajaran sebelum pandemi. Beberapa siswa mendapatkan nilai dibawah KKM, padahal media yang digunakan sekolah saat pembelajaran daring sudah baik yaitu Microsoft 365. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui 1) Perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi kelas XI IS 2 saat sebelum pembelajaran daring dan saat pembelajaran daring. 2) Keefektifan pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 18 Surabaya, pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh diambil dari siswa kelas XI IS 2. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan menggunakan data sekunder.  Pengolahan data penelitian menggunakan uji statistik Wilcoxon. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan hasil nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh sebesar  0,945. Diketahui bahwa 0,945 > 0,05 maka sesuai dengan dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam uji Wilcoxon dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho diterima.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Tidak terdapat perbedaan  hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi kelas XI IS 2 saat sebelum pembelajaran daring dan saat pembelajaran daring. 2) Keefektifan  pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya diketahui sama efektifnya dengan pembelajaran sebelum pandemi. Ditunjukkan dengan hasil pengolahan data yang menyatakan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil belajar siswa pada saat pembelajaran tatap muka langsung dengan pembelajaran daring saat pandemi. Hasil dari respon siswa mengungkap bahwa siswa lebih menyukai pembelajaran tatap muka langsung di sekolah daripada pembelajaran secara daring. mereka mengatakan bahwa lebih mudah memahami materi yang diberikan guru saat tatap muka langsung dibandingkan saat pembelajaran daring. Mereka juga lebih bersemangat dan fokus saat mengikuti pembelajaran tatap muka sebelum pandemi covid-19 dibandingkan saat mengikuti pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) or we usually call the corona virus has hit the world today and has spread throughout the world, including Indonesia. So that the government implements large-scale social restrictions (PSBB). As a result, all activities are carried out from home, as well as education. This PSBB also has an impact on learning that occurs in schools, one of which is at SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya. Student learning outcomes in learning geography in class XI IS 2 during online learning decreased, compared to learning before the pandemic. Some students get scores below the KKM, even though the media used by schools when online learning is good, namely Microsoft 365. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out 1) Differences in student learning outcomes in geography subjects in class XI IS 2 before online learning and during online learning. 2) The effectiveness of online learning at SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya.

The research method used is quantitative method. The research was conducted at SMAN 18 Surabaya, the samle selection used a sample technique taken from students of class XI IS 2. Data collection technique used interviews and used secondary data. Processing research data using Wilcoxon statistical test. The result of statistical test shows that the significance value obtained is .945 . It is known that .945 > 0.05 then according to the basis of decision making in the Wilcoxon test, it can be concluded that Ho is accepted.

The results of this study are (1) there is no  difference in students learning outcomes in the geography subjects of class XI IS 2 before online learning and during online learning.  (2) the effectiveness learning at SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya is known to be as effective as learning before the pandemic. It is shown by the results of data processing which states that there is no average difference between student learning outcomes during face-to-face learning and online learning during a pandemic. The  results of student responses revealed that students prefer face-to-face learning at school rather than online learning. they said that it was easier to understand the material given by the teacher during face-to-face compared to online learning. They are also more enthusiastic and focused when participating in face-to-face learning before the COVID-19 pandemic than when participating in online learning.
