Keberadaan Industri PT.KTM ( Kebun Tebu Mas) Terhadap Perubahan Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat di Desa Lamongrejo Kecamatan Ngimbang Kabupaten Lamongan

Abstract

PT. Kebun Tebu Mas is a sugar industry that was founded in Lamongan Regency and coincides in Lamongan Village. In an area where there are new interactions there are always social and economic changes. This study will examine the social and economic changes in the community with the presence of the sugar industry PT. Kebun Tebu Mas in Lamongan Village. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of respondents, knowing the social changes in the community and knowing the economic changes of the community in Lamongrejo village after the existence of the industry.

This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with survey method. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling with 93 respondents from 1313 families in the village of Lamongrejo. Data on respondent characteristics and socio-economic changes were obtained from structured question sheets and analyzed using a likert scale.

The results of this study indicate the characteristics of respondents in the area around the industry. From the social perspective, the attitude of the community is less changed after the presence of the industry with the percentage of answers 47%, social relations change after the industry with the percentange of ansers 56%, and the contribution given by the industry to the community in the less active category with 56% answer percentage. In terms of economy, community income and experienced an increase in the range of Rp. 1.000.000 – Rp. 2.000.000 to Rp. 2.100.000 – Rp. 3.000.000 every month.
