Abstract

The Lapindo mudflow incident in 2006 caused damage to health facilities that had been submerged in the mud. Health services in 2019 have not been functioning properly due to missing health facilities in several villages resulting in a decrease in the number of PUS in Porong District, especially Mindi, Gedang, Pamotan, Reno and Glagah Arum villages. This study aims to describe the level of family planning activities including 1) a history of family planning (the type of contraception used, where to obtain and install contraceptives, partner support) 2) family planning services (cost of family planning services and the ease of obtaining contraceptives) 3) accessibility (where family planning services, distance and travel time, transportation costs, and terrain conditions) and 4) socialization of family planning for village communities in areas affected by the Lapindo mudflow in Porong District, Sidoarjo Regency in 2019.

The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The location of this research is located in an area affected by the Lapindo mudflow which is still inhabited by the community, namely the villages of Mindi, Gedang, Pamotan, Reno and Glagah Arum. The population in this research is PUS in the area affected by the Lapindo mudflow in Porong sub-district, Sidoarjo regency of 2644 people. The sample was determined by proportional sampling method of 96 respondents. Data collection using documentation and interviews. Data analysis with percentage descriptive.

Results of research on family planning activities in villages affected by Lapindo mudflow 1) History of family planning users in villages affected by Lapindo mud with the type of contraception used was injection with a percentage of 76%. The place for obtaining and installing contraceptives at doctors or private practice midwives with a percentage of 73% and couples prefer to support family planning with a percentage of 98%. 2) Family planning services in the financing sector an average of Rp. 51,000-100,000 with a percentage of 71% and in the field of contraceptive services, respondents are given easy access with a percentage of 100%. 3) Accessibility of family planning services is around the residence with a travel time of 11-20 minutes with a percentage of 54%. The residence and family planning service places are not so far away that they do not need public transportation but can be accessed using private vehicles such as motorbikes or cars with a percentage of 50%. The road conditions are already good and easily accessible by public transportation or private vehicles with a percentage of 98%. 4) The intensity of the socialization carried out by PLKB Porong District is more than 2 times a year with a percentage of 67%
