Kajian Daya Tarik Dusun Terhadap Migran (Dusun Tlocor, Desa Kedungpandan, Kecamatan Jabon, Kabupaten Sidoarjo)
Abstract
In Tlocor Hamlet, Kedungpandan Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency, in 2022, there were 802 permanent migrants and 325 circular migrants recorded. The reasons for migrants moving to Tlocor Hamlet include economic factors, low income in their place of origin, relatively low education, and the fact that job types in Tlocor Hamlet do not discriminate based on age. This study aims to 1) Analyze the push factors causing migrants to migrate to Tlocor Hamlet, 2) Analyze the pull factors causing migrants to migrate to Tlocor Hamlet.
This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The study was conducted in Tlocor Hamlet, Kedungpandan Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency. This research uses systematic sampling method to select respondents. The collected data was then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The data analysis technique uses Excel to find the average value, which is then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis in the form of percentages. Data collection methods used were interviews and documentation.
Research results show that 1) The driving factors causing migrants to migrate to Tlocor Village are economic factors, age factors, and low education factors. 2) The pull factors for migrants to migrate to Tlocor Village are high income, types of work that do not consider age, characteristics of Tlocor Village, and the amount of remittances sent to families in their place of origin. From the research results, it can be seen that 65 people, with a percentage of 65%, had low income with an average wage of Rp 1,282,500/month. After migrating, 50 people, with a percentage of 50% of migrants, had high income, with an average wage of Rp 4,126,500/month. The average amount of remittances sent was Rp 2,671,250/month.
