ORIENTASI JALUR SELEKSI MASUK PERGURUAN TINGGI TERHADAP PERBEDAAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA ANGKATAN 2012 - 2014 JURUSAN PENDIDIKAN SENI RUPA UNIVERSITAS NEGERI SURABAYA

Abstract

Prestasi belajar dipengaruhi oleh 2 faktor, yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Perbedaan jenis jalur seleksi merupakan salah satu faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, mahasiswa jalur bidik misi mempunyai prestasi belajar yang paling baik dibandingkan mahasiswa jalur SNMPTN, SBMPTN dan SPMB. Mahasiswa jalur bidik misi memperoleh rata-rata nilai dan IPK paling tinggi mencapai (3,58). Rata-rata nilai IPK tertinggi kedua dicapai oleh mahasiswa dari jalur SBMPTN dengan pencapaian nilai IPK rata-rata (3,51), yang ketiga dicapai oleh mahasiswa dari jalur SNMPTN dengan pencapaian rata-rata nilai IPK (3,48). Mahasiswa dari jalur SPMB meraih prestasi belajar yang paling rendah dengan pencapaian IPK rata-rata (3,41). Semakin baik mekanisme seleksi semakin baik pula kualitas inputnya.Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.

The different type of the selection program is one of the external factors which influence the academic achievement. Based on the research, the students who are from Bidik Misi program had the best academic achievement than the other students from SNMPTN, SBMPTN and SPMB program. The students who are from Bidik Misi program had obtained the average score and the highest GPA with score 3.58. The average score of the second highest GPA was obtained by the students from SBMPTN program with score 3.51. The third one was obtained by the students from SNMPTN program with average GPA of 3.48. The students from SPMB had obtained the lowest score of academic achievement with GPA of 3.41. The better mechanism of selection program would make the better quality of the input. Furthermore, in this study, the researcher used a descriptive method with qualitative approach.Keywords: Achievement, Lane Selection, Orientation
