PEMBELAJARAN SENI BUDAYA BERBASIS LIFE SKILL PADA SISWA KELAS XI DI UPT SMAN OLAH RAGA JAWA TIMUR

Abstract

Life Skill yaitu kemampuan dan keberanian untuk menghadapi problema kehidupan. Kualitas SDM di Jawa Timur belum mampu meningkatkan kualitas tenaga kerja. Keprihatinan ini menggerakan Mohammad Rohani selaku Guru Seni Budaya UPT SMAN Olah Raga Jawa Timur untuk membekali siswanya vocational skill membuat karya seni. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengapa siswa diajarkan kecakapan hidup (life skill) dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya (2) Bagaimana proses pembelajaran Seni Budaya berbasis life skill di UPT SMAN Olah Raga Jawa Timur dan (3) Apa saja kendala dan alternatif solusi yang ditemui saat proses belajar dan mengajar berlangsung. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui urjensi bagi siswa SMAN Olah Raga Jawa Timur dalam pembekalan vocational skill, proses pembelajaran Seni Budaya berbasis life skill, dan mengetahui kendala dan alternatif solusi saat proses pembelajaran Seni Budaya berbasis life skill. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Kualitatif deskriptif adalah menggambarkan keadaan yang sesuai dengan data yang terkumpul.

Hasil penelitian yang terkumpul menyatakan bahwa dari angket yang diberikan kepada 37 siswa XI IPA dan IPS, sebanyak 84% atau 31 siswa merasa tertarik terhadap pembelajaran Seni Budaya, 89% atau 33 siswa menyatakan memerlukan pembelajaran Seni Budaya berbasis life skill, dan sebanyak 89% atau 33 siswa menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran Seni Budaya berbasis life skill itu bermanfaat. Proses pembelajaran Seni Budaya berbasis ketrampilan vokasional memusatkan pada kegiatan praktek dalam pembuatan karya seni. Sebanyak 89% atau 33 siswa telah menikmati pembelajaran Seni Budaya berbasis life skill. Siswa merasa kurang percaya diri terhadap kemampuan seni yang mereka miliki.Data tersebut didukung dari hasil angket yang diberikan 37 siswa menyatakan 67% siswa atau 25 siswa sering mendapatkan kesulitan saat proses pembelajaran dan sebanyak 33% atau 12 siswa tidak mengalami kesulitan. Hal tersebut karena siswa beranggapan materi tersebut sulit dicapai, namun bagi Guru Seni Budaya hal itu merupakan hal biasa jika siswa belum mencoba dengan proses praktek langsung.

Life Skill: the ability and courage to face the problems of life. The quality of human resources in East Java has not been able to improve the quality of labor. These concerns moving Mohammad Spiritual Teachers as Cultural Arts Senior High School Sports Unit East Java vocational skills to equip students create works of art. The problem of this study were (1) Why students are taught life skills in the learning of the Cultural Arts (2) How is the process of learning life skills-based Cultural Arts in UPT SMAN Olah Raga East Java, and (3) What are the constraints and alternative solutions encountered during the process of learning and teaching take place. The purpose of this study was to determine urgensi for in the UPT SMAN Olah Raga East Java debriefing vocational skills, learning life skills-based Cultural Arts, and know the constraints and alternative solutions during the learning process based life skill Cultural Arts. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative descriptive is appropriate to describe the state of the data collected.

The results of the study were collected from the questionnaire stated that given to 37 students XI science and social studies, as many as 84% or 31 students feel attracted towards learning Cultural Arts, 89% or 33 states require students learning life skills-based Cultural Arts, and as much as 89% or 33 students stated that the Cultural Arts-based learning life skills is beneficial. Cultural Arts-based learning process of vocational skills concentrating on activities in the practice of making art. As many as 89% or 33 students have enjoyed learning life skills-based Cultural Arts. Students feel less confident in the ability of art that they miliki.Data is supported by the results of questionnaires given 37 students stated 67% of students or 25 students often have difficulty during the learning process and as much as 33% or 12 students have no trouble. This is because students assume the material is difficult to achieve, but for the Cultural Arts Master it is normal if the student has not been tried with the direct practice.
