Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Yang Berorientasi Kurikulum 2013 Dengan Metode Eksperimen Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Konsep Materi Pengukuran di Kelas X SMAN 2 Sidoarjo

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan peneliti di SMAN 2 Sidoarjo diketahui bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran masih didominasi guru sehingga siswa kurang aktif. Oleh karena itu peneliti mencoba menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang berorientasi kurikulum 2013 dengan metode eksperimen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, hasil belajar serta respons siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang berorientasi kurikulum 2013 dengan metode eksperimen pada konsep materi Pengukuran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian true experimental design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Matematika dan Ilmu Alam (MIA) SMAN 2 Sidoarjo, sampel penelitian terdiri atas tiga kelas eksperimen (X MIA-3, X MIA-4 dan X MIA-5) dan satu kelas kontrol  (X MIA-6). Hasil pretest dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Berdasarkan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, didapatkan bahwa populasi berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan penilaian dua orang observer diketahui bahwa secara keseluruhan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang berorientasi kurikulum 2013 dengan metode eksperimen pada konsep materi Pengukuran di kelas X SMAN 2 Sidoarjo dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. Pada saat proses pembelajaran teramati beberapa siswa kurang menghargai pendapat teman. Keadaan ini diantisipasi dengan melatih dan membiasakan siswa untuk berbicara santun ketika teman sedang presentasi atau berbicara. Berdasarkan hasil posttest siswa menggunakan uji-t dua pihak diperoleh hasil pada kelas eksperimen (X MIA-3, X MIA-4, dan    X MIA-5) terhadap kelas kontrol (X MIA-6) dengan  secara berturut-turut ; ; dan , sehingga diperoleh  yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai . Hasil uji-t satu pihak menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa di kelas kontrol dengan . Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan simpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang berorientasi kurikulum 2013 dengan metode eksperimen pada konsep materi Pengukuran di kelas X SMAN 2 Sidoarjo dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. Hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol, didukung dengan analisis angket respons siswa dengan rata-rata persentase tiap pernyataan pada kriteria sangat kuat secara berturut-turut adalah 81,73%; 79,81%; 82,70%; 84,61%; 81,73%; dan 74,31%.

Abstract

Based on observations conducted by researcher at SMAN 2 Sidoarjo known that learning activities are still dominated by the teacher so that students are less active. Therefore, researcher try to apply STAD cooperative learning model oriented curriculum of 2013 with an experimental method. This research aimed to describe the feasibility of learning, learning outcomes and student responses to the application of STAD cooperative learning model oriented curriculum of 2013 with an experimental method to the concept of the Measurement. This research is true experimental design. The population of this research is class X MIA SMAN 2 Sidoarjo, and sample of research consisted of three classes of experiments (X MIA-3, X MIA-4 and X MIA-5) and a control class (X MIA-6). Pretest result were analyzed using tests of normality and homogeneity. Based on tests of normality and homogeneity, it was found that the populations are normally distributed and homogeneous. Based on assessment of two observers note that the overall feasibility STAD cooperative learning model oriented curriculum of 2013 with an experimental method to the concept of the Measurement in class X SMAN 2 Sidoarjo can be executed properly. At the time of the learning process is observed some students less value the opinions of friends. This situation is anticipated to train and familiarize the students to speak politely when a friend is a presentation or speech. Based on the results of the posttest students using t-test on the two sides result experimental class (X MIA-3, X MIA-4 and X MIA-5) of the control class (X MIA-6) with  successively ; ; dan , in order to obtain  which indicates that the difference in the average value of experimental class to the control class, the value . Result of    t-test on the one side showed that student learning outcomes in the experimental class better than the student learning outcomes in the control class, the value . Based on the analysis we concluded that the application of STAD cooperative learning model oriented curriculum of 2013 with an experimental method to the concept of the Measurement in class X SMAN 2 Sidoarjo can be executed properly. The student learning outcomes in the experimental class better than the control class, supported by the analysis of the questionnaire responses of students with an average percentage of each statement on a very strong criterion respectively 81,73%; 79,81%; 82,70%; 84,61%; 81,73%; and 74,31%.
