Pengembangan E-Book Interaktif Berbasis Salingtemas (Sains, Lingkungan, Teknologi, Masyarakat) pada Materi Fluida Dinamis untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Siswa dan Penerapannya

Abstract

Hasil identifikasi terhadap kondisi obyektif pembelajaran di sekolah menunjukkan permasalahan, antara lain siswa hafal dengan materi, tetapi tidak paham, tidak mampu menghubungkan konsep dengan penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, serta merasa kesulitan memahami konsep abstrak melalui metode ceramah. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan sebesar 84% siswa SMAN 1 Mojosari mendapat nilai kurang baik dalam pelajaran Fisika. Sebagai respon dari permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan mendeskrispsikan validitas media e-book yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari komponen penyajian ilustrasi, kebahasaan, dan kesesuaian materi; mendeskripsikan respon siswa dan guru SMAN 1 Mojosari; dan mendeskripsikan tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa setelah belajar menggunakan e-book yang dikembangkan. E-Book Interaktif dikembangkan mengacu pada model penelitian ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil validitas e-book diperoleh pada tahap develop, pemahaman konsep diperoleh pada tahap implementation, dan respon siswa diperoleh pada tahap evaluation. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 7. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Media e-book interaktif berbasis Salingtemas yang dikembangkan dianggap sangat valid untuk digunakan sebagai penunjang sumber belajar siswa kelas XI SMA/MA, siswa dan guru memberikan respon positif terhadap e-book yang dikembangkan, dan perolehan post-test siswa pada masing-masing indikator setelah menerima pembelajaran menggunakan e-book interaktif berbasis Salingtemas mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan pada saat pre-test. Peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa dikarenakan beberapa hal, yaitu: teknik penyajian materi yang baik, penggunaan e-book interaktif, dan pengemasan materi berbasis Salingtemas atau kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

The result of indentification objective condition in education presented some problems, such as student had memorised the lesson but didn’t understand, can’t connected physics consept with the aplication in daily activity, and  getting difficulty to understand abstract consept with conventional explanation. This statement is prooven by 84% students of  Senior High School 1 Mojosari get low score in physics education. As response of the problem, developed the research with the aim to describe the validity of developing e-book with the lay out, ilustration, language, and the consept; describe response of Senior High School 1 Mojosari’s student and teacher; and describe the understanding of student after studying using developing e-book. Interactive e-Book be developed with a research and development ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation). Validity result can be gotten in develop part, consept understanding be gotten in implementation part, and student and teacher response be gotten in evaluation part. Sample in this research  is student of XI IPA 7. From the result,  developing e-book based Scince, Environment, Technology, Society assumed so valid to complete the source of study in Senior High School class XI, student and teacher give positive response for devoloping book, and post-test’s result in every indicator after studying with interactive e-book based Scince, Environment, Technology, Society can improve than pre-test result. The increasing of consept understanding be caused something, such as: the good explanation method, using interactive e-book, and using SETS or daily activity.
