PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TPS (THINK PAIR SHARE) DENGAN MENGINTEGRASIKAN STRATEGI INDEX CARD MATCH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA POKOK BAHASAN PERPINDAHAN KALOR DI KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 PURI MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan, hasil belajar siswa serta respons siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan mengintegrasikan strategi index card match. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah true experimental design dengan desain penelitian control group pre-test post-test design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X-MIA di SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto yang berjumlah enam  kelas. Sampel terdiri dari satu kelas eksperimen (X-MIA 6) dan satu kelas kontrol (X-MIA 5). Hasil pre-test dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Berdasarkan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, diperoleh hasil bahwa semua kelas telah terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t dua pihak didapatkan t_hitung sebesar 5,01 dengan t_tabel sebesar 2,00 maka menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan siswa kelas eksperimen berbeda dengan kelas kontrol. Hasil belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan kelas eksperimen diketahui lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan menggunakan uji-t satu pihak, dengan nilai t_hitung  sebesar 5,01 dan t_tabel sebesar 1,67. Berdasarkan analisis nilai hasil belajar yang meliputi tiga aspek yaitu pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap diperoleh rata-rata nilai hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kontrol yaitu 85,53 dan 79,31 sehingga diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas ekperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Kegiatan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think Pair Share) dengan mengintegrasikan strategi index card match mendapat respons sangat baik dari siswa. Rata-rata persentase respons siswa yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 90,08%. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan mengintegrasikan strategi index card match dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan mengintegrasikan strategi index card match juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan perpindahan kalor kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Puri Mojokerto serta mendapat respons sangat baik dari siswa.

This research aims to descript materialization, learning outcomes of the students and response of the students  following TPS type-cooperative learning model by integrating index card match strategy. Design of the research is true experimental design with pretest and post test group control. Population of the research is  all students of X-MIA in SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto consisting  6 classes. Sample of the research consists of one experimental class (X-MIA 6) and one control class (X-MIA 5). Result of pretest then was analyzed by using normality and homogenous tests. Based on the tests, results indicate that all classes are normal and homogenous distributed. Result of t-test analysis of the two classes obtain t_calculated = 5,01 and t_table = 2,00  so it indicates that students’ learning outcomes from the aspect of knowledge between experimental class and control class is different. Students in experimental class, on the aspect of knowledge, have better learning outcomes than them in control class, based on  result of analysis using one party t-test, with t_calculated = 5,01 and t_table = 1,67. Based on analysis of learning outcomes consisting three aspects that is knowledge, skill, and attitude obtains mean value of 85,31 and 79,31 in experimental class and control class respectively so mean value of learning outcomes  of students in experimental class is better than in control class. Learning activity that uses TPS type – cooperative learning model by integrating index card match strategy  obtains very good response from the students. Mean percentage of students’ response obtains 90,08%. Based on this research, it can be concluded that  materialization of TPS type – cooperative learning model by integrating  index card match strategy can be materialized well. TPS type – cooperative learning model by integrating index card match strategy can also improve students’ learning outcomes  on subject of calor movement in grade ten SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto and alsoobtain very good response from the students.
