Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) bentuk tata rias tokoh Dewi Sinta. (2) makna tata rias tokoh Dewi Sinta. (3) bentuk busana dan aksesoris tokoh Dewi Sinta. (4) makna busana dan aksesoris tokoh Dewi Sinta. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yaitu mendeskripsikan tata rias tokoh Dewi Sinta di sendratari Ramayana Prambanan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode untuk menguji data dari enam sumber primer dan dua sekunder. Hasil penelitian tata rias tokoh Dewi Sinta adalah: (1) base makeup menyesuaikan dengan warna kulit penari, riasan mata berwarna coklat tua, hitam, abu-abu, riasan garis mata berwarna hitam, alis melengkung indah berwarna hitam, riasan pipi berwarna merah, hidung mancung dan shading berwarna coklat, bibir ideal berwarna merah, godeg berbentuk jambang berwarna hitam, urna berbentuk segitiga melengkung berwarna hitam. Penataan rambut panjang terurai. (2) makna tata rias menonjolkan karakter putri luruh. (3) busana dan aksesoris meliputi: Meka dilengkapi ilat-ilatan, selendang/sampur, ikat pinggang/slepe, kain batik parang klithik, irah-irahan tekes, kalung permata, sumping, subang permata dan gelang permata. (4) makna meka warna hitam melambangkan kewibawaan, warna emas melambangkan kemakmuran. Selendang/sampur warna kuning melambangkan keleluasaan. Ikat pinggang/slepe warna hitam melambangkan kesedihan, elegan. Kain batik parang klithik tidak memilki makna khusus. Aksesoris sebagai pelengkap keindahan penampilan Dewi Sinta.

Abstract: This study aims to knowing (1) the shape of cosmetology Goddess Sinta figures. (2) the meaning from cosmetology Goddess Sinta figures. (3) the form of clothing and accessories Goddess Sinta figures. (4) the meaning of clothing and accessories Goddess Sinta figures. A qualitative descriptive research methods are described the cosmetology of Goddess Sinta figures at Ramayana ballet Prambanan. Data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. Analysis data with source the triangulation and triangulation techniques to examine data from six primary sources and two secondary sources. The results of research cosmetology of Goddess Sinta figures at Prambanan are: (1) bnd grey. Makeup on eye liner used black color, eyebrows is arched beautiful black color, blush on colored is red, high nose and brown shading, the ideal of lips is red color, godeg that resembles the shape of vase is black colored and urna curved triangular shape is black color. Structuring hair is long flowing. (2) the meaning cosmetology is accentuate a gentle daughter. (3) the form of clothing and accessories use meka equipped ilat-ilatan, scarves/sampur, belt/slepe and parang klithik batik's cloth, irah-irahan tekes, jewel necklace, sumping, subang gem, bracelet gem. (4) the meaning of the black colored meka symbolizes the authority, the gold colored is symbolizes of prosperity. The yellow color of Scarves/sampur was symbolizes relaxed. The black color of Belt/slepe was symbolizes the sadness, elegant. Parang klithik batik’s does not have a special meaning. Accessories as a complement the beauty of the appearance of Goddess Sinta.
