THE ROLE OF THE "GOT TALENT" PROGRAM AT SMA NEGERI GLENMORE IN ENHANCING STUDENTS' CREATIVITY AND COLLABORATION IN PERFORMING

Abstract
The Got Talent program at SMA Negeri Glenmore is an annual school event that has been held since 2017 as a platform for students to showcase their performing arts while developing creativity, collaboration skills, and awareness of preserving arts and culture, particularly the traditional arts of Banyuwangi. This study aims to describe the role of the Got Talent program in enhancing students' creativity and collaboration in performing arts. The study is motivated by the importance of arts activities in schools as a learning medium that focuses not only on the final performance but also on the creative and collaborative processes that foster students' character, skills, and potential.
This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with the role of the Got Talent program at SMA Negeri Glenmore in enhancing students' creativity and collaboration in performing arts as its research object. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri Glenmore, Banyuwangi Regency. The research subjects consisted of the principal, arts teacher, organizing committee, judges, and students participating in the Got Talent program. Data were collected through observation, structured and unstructured interviews, documentation, and questionnaires as supporting data. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was ensured through source triangulation and method triangulation
