HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENYESUAIAN DIRI DAN REGULASI EMOSI DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP HANG TUAH 4 SURABAYA

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara penyesuaian diri dan regulasi emosi dengan prestasi belajar matematika pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan subjek berjumlah 129 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala penyesuaian diri dan skala regulasi emosi. Teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasi Spearman untuk mencari hubungan secara parsial dan teknik korelasi Kendall untuk mencari hubungan secara simultan. Hasil analisis antara penyesuaian diri dengan prestasi belajar matematika menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,300 dan sebesar 0,200 antara regulasi emosi dengan prestasi belajar matematika. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hubungan parsial antara variabel X1 dengan Y dan X2 dengan Y berada pada tingkat lemah. Hasil analisis data secara simultan antara varibel X1 dan X2 dengan Y menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,549. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penyesuaian diri dan regulasi emosi dengan prestasi belajar matematika pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-adjustment and emotion regulation with mathematic learning achievement at the eighth grade students of SMP Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. This research was a quantitative research method with subjects of 129 students. The instrument used in this study is the self-adjustment and emotion regulation. Scale, the data analysis techniques in this study are Spearman correlation and Kendall correlation techniques. The results of self-adjusment with matematic learning achievement show correlation coefficient of 0.300, and 0.200 between the variable of emotion regulation and mathematic learning achievement. It can be concluded that there is a weak relationship between X1 with Y and X2 with Y. Results of simultaneous analysis of variables X1 and X2 with Y showed a correlation coefficient of 0.549. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the self-adjustment and emotion regulation with mathematic learning achievement at the eight grade students of SMP Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya.
