Abstract

Poetry has a concentrated physical structure and inner structure and imaginatively concentrates the power of
language in expressing the thoughts and feelings of the poet. This characteristic is also owned by song lyrics
which have forming elements such as poetry which includes elements of sound, rhyme, and diction. The
structure of song lyrics is composed of various elements and poetry in its rhyme. This research uses Roman
Ingarden's stratum norm theory to find answers about how the structure of Roman Ingarden's stratum norms
in the song Barfuß am Klavier by AnnenMayKantereit with the theme of romance. This research is a
qualitative research. The data source comes from lyricsmusic.com. The data is in the form of song text
sentences. The results illustrate that there are layers of sound, layers of meaning, third layer, fourth layer and
fifth layer manifested in the song Barfuß am Klavier by AnnenMayKantereit.
