PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GUIDED INQUIRY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA PADA MATERI ALAT-ALAT OPTIK DI SMA NEGERI 11 SURABAYA
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran guided inquiry, hasil peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa, dan respon siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test post-test design serta menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dan dua kelas replikasi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen, kelas X MIA 6 dan X MIA 7 sebagai kelas replikasi. Variabel penelitian ini meliputi variabel bebas yaitu penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, variabel respon yaitu hasil keterampilan proses sains siswa serta variabel kontrol yaitu materi pembelajaran alat-alat optik. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji n-gain score, uji t berpasangan dan uji anava, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran guided inquiry memperoleh nilai rata-rata dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil keterampilan proses sains siswa pada ketiga kelas berkategori tinggi. Respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran guided inquiry mendapatkan kategori baik.

Abstract
This research attempts to describe the implementation of guided inquiry learning, the students science process skill achievement, and student response about learning process. The kind of research is pre experimental with one group pre-test post-test design. The subject of this research are X MIA 5 as experiment class, X MIA 6 and X MIA 7 as replication class. Research variables consist of manipulation variable is implementation of guided inquiry learning, respons variable is students science process skill achievement, and control variable is learning material. Technique of data analysis that used are n-gain score, t-test, and anava. The result of this research shows that the implementation learning process using guided inquiry learning totally carried out with excellent category. The students science process skill achievement get percentage in high category. The respons of student to guided inquiry learning is good category.
