PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GUIDED INQUIRY BERBASIS EKSPERIMEN TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA MATERI FLUIDA STATIS DI SMA NEGERI 1 GEDANGAN

Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara peneliti di SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan, di sekolah tersebut masih sedikit guru fisika yang menerapkan model dan strategi pembelajaran yang memberikan kesempatan untuk melakukan proses penemuan dan penyelidikan dari ide siswa itu sendiri untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi suatu informasi data atau argumen sehingga mencerminkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa masih rendah. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti mencoba menerapkan model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbasis eksperimen untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran guided inquiry berbasis eksperimen, respons, hasil belajar dan pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi fluida statis. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA6 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran guided inquiry berbasis eksperimen terlaksana dengan kategori baik, siswa memberi respons baik, jumlah ketuntasan siswa yang menerapkan pembelajaran guided inquiry berbasis eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas dengan model pembelajaran diskusi, serta semakin tinggi rata-rata nilai lembar kerja siswa maka nilai keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang diperoleh dari hasil post-test juga tinggi dalam pembelajaran materi fluida statis di SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan.

Abstract
Based on observation and interview study in SMAN 1 Gedangan, there were a few number of physics teacher used a model and strategic learning which were provide opportunities to do the discovery and investigation from students’ own ideas to analyze and evaluate an information or opinion which were reflect critical thinking skill student were low. Therefore, this study tried to apply guided inquiry learning by experiment to describe its effect to students’ critical thinking skill. Tha aim of this study were to describe the implementation of guided inquiry learning by experiment, the students’ respon to the model, learning outcomes, and its effect to students’ critical thinking skill in the static fluid. The type of this study was quasi experiment. The subject resarch were XI IPA 6 as experiment class and XI IPA 5 as control class. The results showed that the guided inquiry by experiment were were done with good criteria, students’s respond were good, and students’ sucsess rate who performed by guided inquiry by experiment was higher than the students’ who performed by discussion learning model and the higher the average of worksheet score then the higher the students’ critical thinking obtained from post-test in static fluid in SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan.
