PENGARUH METODE PROBLEM SOLVING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN PKn TEMA PENEGAKAN HAM PADA SISWA KELAS VII B MTs RAUDLATUL HASANAH PASEAN PAMEKASAN

Abstract

Pembelajaran PKn di MTs. Raudlatul Hasanah Dempo Timur Pasean Pamekasan selama ini masih kurang optimal. Hal ini di karenakan penggunaan metode untuk pembelajaran PKn masih menggunakan metode ceramah dan terpusat pada guru sehingga siswa kurang dilibatkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kondisi seperti ini membuat siswa tidak bisa berfikir kreatif dansiswa mejadi kurang tertarik untuk mempelajari PKn bahkan ada sebagian yang menganggap mata pelajaran PKn membosankan. Hal seperti ini tentunya akan mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa.

             Permasalahan yang muncul dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah metode problem solving berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran PKn tema pengakan HAM pada siswa kelas VII B MTs. Raudlatul Hasanah Dempo Timur Pasean Pamekasan. Selain itu, Peneliti bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode problem solving terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran PKn Tema Penegakan HAM pada siswa kelas VII B MTs raudlatul Hasanah Pasean pamekasan.

             Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan hanya menggunakan satu kelas yaitu kelas VII B. Dari data awal (Observasi) menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas 58.8%. Dengan demikian, perlu adanya metode yang berbeda dan sesuai dengan mata pelajaran untuk dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa.

             Pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes upaya mengukur hasil belajar, Kemudian instrumen tes tersebut dibuat tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (postest). Tes awal yang diperoleh dengan rata-rata kelas 48,37. Untuk mengetahui sampel berdistribusi normal apa tidak di lakukan Uji Normalis. Uji Normalis pada penelitian ini di dapat dengan L_tabel=0,161 dan L=0,137751 maka sampel dikatakan berdistribusi normal.

             Setelah dilakukan model pembelajaran problem solving, dilakukan tes akhir (postest) dan didapat dengan rata-rata kelas 84. Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dilakukan uji t. Uji t dari perbedaan pretest dan post test diperoleh t_tabel = 2,05 dan  t_hitung = 21,16 dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hal ini menyatakan bahwa metode problem solving dapat memberikan pengaruh hasil belajar siswa kelas VII B pada mata pelajaran PKn tema penegakan HAM secara signifikan.

Abstract

PKn learning in MTs. Raudlatul Hasanah Dempo Timur Pasean Pamekasan has been less satisfied. The reason is that learning method implemented in the classroom is speech, so it tends to be teacher-oriented. This method less effective in engaging student in learning activity. It doesn't reveal the student's creative thinking skill. They assume that PKn is not interesting and become a boring subject to learn.

The research problem of the study is to answer a question whether problem-solving method affect the learning outcome of seventh graders in MTs. Raudlatul Hasanah Dempo Timur Pasean Pamekasan in learning PKn subject under topic thesupremacy of human rights.The purpose of the study is to find out the effect of problem solving method in learning result of Educational Nationality subject sub topic human rights supremacy of seventh graders of MTs Raudlatul Hasanah Pasean Pamekasan.

This study implemented quantitative methodology and was limited to seventh graders B. Attained from data observation which has conducted earlier, it indicated that the average of students’ score was under minimum criterion of passing grade, namely 75. Thus, it was necessary to implement a different method which meet the characteristic of the topic would be discussed and it should affect the learning result of the students competency.

In this study, the writer applied instrumental test to measure the learning outcome. The test was considered as the beginning (pretest) and final test (posttest). The beginning test revealed that the students score was 48,37. Normal test was applied to find out whether the test spread thoroughly or not. The result score of the study was achieved by L_tabel=0,161 dan L=0,137751. Hence, the sample was considered spread normally.

Following the implementation of problem solving method the final test (posttest) was applied. The finding score was 84. To find out the learning result the writer delivered a t-test. The t-test resulted in pre-test and post-test was t_tabel = 2,05 dan  t_hitung = 21,16 by level of significance α = 0,05. Based on the result, it can be concluded that problem solving method significantly affects the learning result of seventh graders B on Education of Nationality subject on sub topic human rights supremacy.
