EVALUASI PROGRAM SUNDAY SCHOOL DALAM PENDIDIKAN LIFE SKILLS DI SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 2 SURABAYA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh deskripsi tentang (1) pelaksanaan program Sunday School di SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya, (2) tingkat perkembangan kecakapan pribadi siswa program Sunday School, dan (3) tingkat perkembangan kecakapan sosial siswa program Sunday School. Model evaluasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Goal Oriented Evaluation Model. Data akan dikumpulkan melalui teknik angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik angket digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kuantitatif tentang tingkat kecakapan hidup siswa Sunday School, sedangkan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data kualitatif tentang pelaksanaan program Sunday School. Hasil penelitian dengan analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program Sunday School sudah baik. Hasil penelitian dengan analisis statistik tentang kecakapan hidup siswa menunjukkan bahwa kecakapan pribadi dan kecakapan sosial siswa Sunday School lebih baik daripada siswa regular_. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa program Sunday School dapat mengembangkan kecakapan pribadi dan kecakapan sosial siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to obtain the description of (1) implementation of Sunday School Program in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya, (2) the development of the level of personal skills students of Sunday School program, and (3) the development of the level of social skills of Sunday School program students. The evaluation model used in this study was Goal Oriented Evaluation Models. Data would be collected via the questionnaire techniques, interviews and documentations. The questionnaire technique used to collect quantitative data about the level of life skills students in Sunday School program, whereas the interview techniques and documentation used to obtain qualitative data about the implementation of the Sunday School program. The results with descriptive analyze showed that the implementation of the Sunday School program had been good. The research with statistic analyze about the life skills of students showed that personal skills and social skills of students showed that social skills Sunday School students better than regular students. Thus it can be concluded that the Sunday School program can develop personal skills and social skills of the students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya.
