PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MATERI POKOK GAYA MATA PELAJARAN FISIKA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 7 BLITAR

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika materi Gaya.

Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah True Eksperimental Control group pretest–posttest, dengan subyek penelitian kelas eksperimen (VIII C) dan kelas Kontrol (VIII B). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 7 Blitar. Perlakuan kelas eksperimen dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match, sedangkan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran Konvensional. Variabel penelitian yang diteliti adalah varabel bebas yaitu penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match dan variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Fisika kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Blitar. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen setelah diberi perlakuan.

Hasil analisis data dari kelas eksperimen dalam proses penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match diperoleh nilai rata – rata 89,38% untuk guru dan diperoleh nilai rata – rata 89,38%untuk siswa. Maka dari itu dapat termasuk dalam kriteria baik sekali. Untuk hasil analisis data tes dengan menggunakan uji t nilai pre-test diperoleh hasil  > , atau 1,671 > 0,165 dan untuk nilai post test diperoleh  > , atau 8,15 > 1,67 maka dari itu menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan setelah diberikan perlakuan.

Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional pada proses pembelajaran Fisika materi Gaya bagi siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 7 Blitar.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether the implementation of cooperative learning model of make a match could increase student learning outcomes in Physics of force main material.

The design of this study design was True Experimental Control group pretest-posttest. For this design, the experimental class was VIII C and the controlled class was VIII B. This study was conducted in SMPN 7 Blitar. Experimental class was treated by applying cooperative learning type Make a Match while the controlled class was treated by conventional learning. The research variables was free variable, the application of cooperative learning model two stay two stray, while dependent variable is the student learning outcomes in science for VIII grade class in SMPN 7 Blitar. The data collection method was the technique of observation and tests. Data were analyzed using t-test to determine the differences in learning outcomes in the experimental class after being treated.

The obtained value of the data analysis of the experimental class in the process of implementation of cooperative learning model using two stay two stray was about 91.10% for teachers and about 88.88% for students. Thus it can be included that it fits in the criteria very well. For the result of the test data analysis using t-test pre-test values was results  > , or 1,671 > 0,165  and for post test was  > ,, or 8,15 > 1,67. Therefore, it showed an increase in student learning outcomes significantly after being given treatment.

As the conclusion, this study showed that the implementation of cooperative learning model make a match could improve student learning outcomes significantly in comparison with the use of conventional learning in Physic of force main material for VIII grade students at SMPN 7 Blitar.
