PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA KOMPUTER PEMBELAJARAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA MATERI POKOK INDUKSI ELEKTROMAGNETIK SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 1 MOJO KEDIRI

Mata pelajaran IPA merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib dipelajari pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Terdapat beberapamateri dalam Fisika yang masih abstrak bagi siswa, diantaranya materi Induksi Elektromagnetik kelas IX di SMP Negeri 1 Mojo Kediri. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasidapat diketahui bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar dikarenakan materi yang masih abstrak bagi siswa, jumlah materi yang cukup banyak, dan belum terdapat media pembelajaran yang memadai untuk membantu siswa dalam memahami materi. Permasalahan yang terjadi dapat diatasi dengan adanya media komputer pembelajaran.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa media komputer pembelajaran. Media komputer pembelajaran dengan format tutorial ini menyajikan informasi yang berupa materi yang harus dipelajari, membantu peserta didik belajar sesuai dengan kecepatannya, dan dapat memberikan respons terhadap kemampuan peserta didik. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Borg and Gall (1989) dalam buku Arifin, 2011:129-132. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk menguji kelayakan media adalah wawancara untuk ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli pembelajaran, kemudian angket untuk siswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara terstruktur dengan ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli pembelajaran, sebagian besar indikator dinyatakan sangat baik namun masih terdapat perbaikan di beberapa bagian untuk menyempurnakan produk. Hasil uji coba awal yang terdiri dari 3 siswa, uji coba lapangan yang terdiri dari 10 siswa, dan uji lapangan yang terdiri dari 30 orang siswa menyatakan bahwa hampir seluruh indikator dinyatakan baik namun masih terdapat beberapa bagian yang perlu diperbaiki untuk menyempurnakan produk hingga produk layak digunakan. Analisis data pre-test antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol diperoleh hasil nilai statistik uji Mann Whitney yaitusig.2-tailed adalah 0,767 > 0,05 sehingga Ho diterima artinya tidak ada perbedaan distribusi skor pada kedua kelompok tersebut. Analisis data post-testantara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol diperoleh hasil nilai statistik uji Mann Whitney yaitu sig.2-tailed adalah 0,016 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima artinya ada perbedaan distribusi skor antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Nilai yang diperoleh kelompok eksperimen lebih besar daripada nilai yang diperoleh kelompok kontrol.

Abstract

Sains subjects is one of the subjects that must be studied at the Junior High School level. There are some materials in physics that is still abstract for students, including the Electromagnetic Induction material in ninth grade of SMPN 1 Mojo Kediri. Based on interviews and observations showed that students with learning difficulties due to the material that is still abstract for students, the amount of material that is quite a lot, and there has been no adequate learning media to help students understand the material. The problems that occur can be overcome with the instructional computer media. The aim of this research is to produce products such as instructional computer media. Instructional computer media with tutorial format provides information in the form of material that must be learned, help students learn according to their speed, and may respond to the ability of learners. The model used is a model development Borg and Gall (1989) in the book Arifin, 2011: 129-132. Data collection methods used to know the feasibilityof product are interview of subject matter expert, media experts, and learning expert, then a questionnaire to students. Based on the results of structured interviews with subject matter experts, media experts and learning experts, most of the indicators is expressed very well but there are improvements in some parts to enhance the product. The results of early trials consisting of three students, a field trial consisting of 10 students, and a field test consisting of 30 students stated that almost all indicators is good, but there are still some parts that need to be improved to enhance the product until the product is ready to use. Analysis of the data pre-test between the experimental group and the control group obtained the results of the Mann Whitney test statistic is sig.2-tailed is 0.767> 0,05 so Ho accepted means there is no difference in the distribution of scores in both groups. Post-test data analysis between the experimental group and the control group obtained the results of the Mann Whitney test statistic is sig.2-tailed is 0.016 <0.05 so that Ha received means that there are differences in the distribution of scores between the experimental group and the control group. Values ​​obtained for the experimental group was greater than the value obtained by the control group.
