PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VIDEO ANIMASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SUB POKOK BAHASAN HUBUNGAN ANTAR SUDUT KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 KREMBUNG SIDOARJO

Perkembangan pesat di bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi saat ini dilandasi oleh perkembangan matematika di bidang aljabar, analisis, dan matematika diskrit. Hubungan antar sudut pada mata pelajaran matematika SMP Kelas VII mengaharuskan siswa untuk menerapkan berbagai konsep dan sifat-sifat terkait garis dan sudut dalam pembuktian matematis serta pemecahan masalah nyata. Dalam hal ini video animasi merupakan media pembelajaran yang tepat untuk membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Pengembangan media video animasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media video animasi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Krembung Sidoarjo.

Model dan prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu R&D Borg and Gall. Dalam pelaksanaan uji coba dilakukan beberapa tahap, yaitu: review dengan ahli materi dan ahli media, evaluasi dengan uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji coba kelompok besar dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dilakukan uji coba pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dihitung menggunakan rumus uji T.

Hasil uji coba kepada dua ahli materi yaitu 69,75% dan uji coba kepada dua ahli media yaitu 84,7%. Sedangkan hasil uji coba perorangan yaitu 86,1%, uji coba kelompok kecil yaitu 84,1%, dan uji coba kelompok besar yaitu 86,4%. Data hasil uji T diperoleh 1,66 < 6, maka hasil tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar.

ABSTRACT

The rapid development in ICT nowadays can happen because of the development of mathematics, especially in algebra, analysis, and discrete mathematic. The connection between angles in mathematics for seventh graders of junior high school requires students to apply various concepts and characteristics related to the lines and angles in mathematics verification along with the real problem solving. In this case, animated video is one of the appropriate instructional media to help students increase their learning results. The development of animated video media is supposed to know the influence of animated video media in increasing students’ learning results for seventh graders of SMP Negeri 1 Krembung Sidoarjo.

Model and procedure development that is used in this research is R & D model by Borg and Gall. There are some steps in the implementation of this research, those are review from the material expert and media expert, evaluation from the individual trial, small group trial, and large group trial. To know the improvement of students’ learning result, the researcher do the trial in experimental and controlled group. Experimental and controlled is counted by using T-test.

The trials result from the two material experts is 69,75% and from the two media experts is 84,7%. Meanwhile, the results from the individual trial is 86,1%, small group trial is 84,7%, and large group trial is 86,4%. In addition, the results from T-test data is 1,66<6, from that results, it can be concluded that this media can improve students’ learning results in mathematics related to the connection between angles material.
