Terdapat tiga rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini yaitu diperlukan pengembangan media video animasi, diperlukan uji kelayakan, dan uji efektifitas materi pokok keunggulan potensi sumber daya alam antar region di Indonesia mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas VIII SMPN 4 Sidoarjo. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan media video animasi, mengetahui kelayakan media video animasi, dan mengetahui tingkat efektifitas video animasi. Spesifikasi produk media video animasi berformat .avi (Audio Video Interleave) berdurasi 11 menit yang di kemas dalam bentuk DVD (Digital Video Disc) dan buku penyerta berukuran A5. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) dalam mengembangkan media video animasi keunggulan potensi sumber daya alam antar region di Indonesia.

Hasil uji kelayakankedua ahli media diperoleh Perhitungan Setiap Aspek (PSA) daya tarik 100% (sangat baik), PSA pengertian yang menyeluruh 100%, PSA standart teknis 100%, dan PSA efektifitas 100 %. Hasil uji kelayakan kedua ahli materi diperoleh hasil PSA Pengertian yang menyeluruh 100% (sangat baik), PSA isi pesan 100%. PSA keakuratan isi adalah 100%. Dan PSA efektifitas 100%. Hasil uji coba perorangan 3 peserta didik menghasilkan aspek daya tarik 93,7%, aspek pengertian yang menyeluruh 94,4%, aspek standart teknis 87,5%, dan aspek efektifitas 91,6%. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil 6 peserta didik menghasilkan aspek daya tarik 93,7% (sangat baik), aspek pengertian yang menyeluruh 93,%, aspek standart teknis 95,8%, dan aspek efektifitas 95,8%. Hasil uji coba kelompok besar 40 peserta didik menghasilkan aspek daya tarik 94,6% (sangat baik), aspek pengertian yang menyeluruh 94,1%, aspek standart teknis 92,8%, dan aspek manfaat 96,8%. Hasil uji t dengan taraf signifikan 5%, nilai db = N - 1 = 40-1 = 39, diperoleh t tabel 1,68, dengan demikian maka t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 31,64>1,68. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan media video animasi terhadap peningkatkan pemahaman materi kepada siswa. Jadi hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media video animasi layak dan efektif untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran keunggulan potensi sumber daya alam antar region di Indonesia.

Abstract

There are three formulation of the problem of this research that required the development of an animated video media, is required due diligence, and test the effectiveness of the subject matter of the potential advantages of natural resources between regions in Indonesia subjects of Social Sciences class VIII SMPN 4 Sidoarjo. The purpose of this study produce media video animation, determine the feasibility of an animated video media, and determine the effectiveness of video animation. The product specifications animated video media format .avi (Audio Video Interleave) duration of 11 minutes in the pack in the form of a DVD (Digital Video Disc) and the companion volume A5 size. This study uses a model of development ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) in developing an animated video media potential advantages of natural resources between regions in Indonesia.

The results of the feasibility test both media experts obtained Calculations Every Aspect (PSA) appeal 100% (excellent), PSA thorough understanding of 100%, 100% technical standard PSA and PSA effectiveness of 100%. The results of the feasibility test of both subject matter experts PSA results obtained thorough understanding 100% (excellent), PSA message content 100%. PSA accuracy of the content is 100%. And 100% PSA effectiveness. The results of individual testing 3 learners generate appeal aspects of 93,7%, a thorough understanding aspects 94,4%, the technical aspects of the standard of 87,5%, and 91,6% effectiveness aspects. The results of trials small group 6 learners generate appeal aspects of 93,7% (excellent), a thorough understanding aspect 93%, the technical aspects of the standard of 95,8%, and 95,8% effectiveness aspects. The test result a large group of 40 learners generating aspects of attractiveness 94,6% (excellent), a thorough understanding aspects of 94.1%, the technical aspects of the standard of 92,8%, and 96,8% of the beneficial aspects. The results of the t test with significance level of 5%, the value of db = N - 1 = 40-1 = 39, obtained t table 1,68, and thus t is greater than t table is 31,64> 1,68. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between media use animated videos at enhancing understanding of the material to the students. So this shows that the development of an animated video media feasible and effective for use as a medium of learning the potential advantages of natural resources between regions in Indonesia.
