PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA COMPUTER ASISSTED INSTRUCTION (CAI) PADA MATA PELAJARAN GEOGRAFI POKOK BAHASAN HUBUNGAN MANUSIA DAN LINGKUNGAN AKIBAT DINAMIKA LITOSFER KELAS X SMA ISLAM SIDOARJO

Abstract

Berdasarkan data awal di SMA Islam Sidoarjo mata pelajaran Geografi materi pokok hubungan manusia dengan lingkungan akibat dinamika litosfer merupakan salah satu materi yang menjenuhkan sebab siswa cenderung kurang memahami dan kurang antusias karena media pembelajaran yang diberikan kurang menarik perhatian. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dibutuhkan media untuk memotivasi siswa dalam memahami materi. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, pengembang memberikan solusi dengan mengembangkan media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) pada mata pelajaran Geografi materi hubungan manusia dengan lingkungan akibat dinamika litosfer.

Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu dari Research and Development (R & D), dikarenakan model ini memberikan urutan proses yang diikuti dengan revisi sehingga kelayakan produk dapat teruji dengan baik, model yang tergolong sederhana dan sistematis sehingga mudah untuk diterapkan dalam penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis komputer.

Data hasil uji validitas ahli materi I memperoleh persentase 86,6% (sangat baik), ahli materi II 80% (baik), ahli media I 92,5% (sangat baik), ahli media II 88,8 (sangat baik). Hasil uji coba perseorangan 88,2% (sangat baik), uji coba kelompok kecil 92,3% (sangat baik), uji coba kelompok besar 85% (sangat baik). Hasil yang diperoleh dari uji normalitas pre test kelas eksperimen dan kontrol ialah 0,26 dimana data nilai dapat dikatakan normal, sedangkan hasil dari post test kelas eksperimen dan kontrol ialah 8,1 dimana data berdistribusi normal. Uji homogenitas kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dari nilai UAS mendapatkan 0,719 dimana kedua kelas memiliki varian yang homogen, uji homogenitas kelas kontrol dan eksperimen dari hasil pre test mendapatkan varian homogen, dan uji homogen dari data post test kedua kelas mendapatkan varian yang homogen.

Based on those problems, developers provide solutions by developing media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) in Geography subject matter of human relationships with the environment as a result of the dynamics of the lithosphere.

The development model used is from the Research and Development (R & D), because this model provides a sequence of processes followed by revisions to the feasibility of the product can be tested, the model is quite simple and systematic so easy to implement in the research development of teaching materials based computer.

Data validity test results matter experts I earn a percentage of 86.6% (excellent), a material II 80% (good), media expert I 92.5% (excellent), media expert II 88.8 (excellent). The results of trials of individuals 88.2% (excellent), piloting a small group 92.3% (excellent), a large group trial 85% (excellent). The results of the normality test pre test experimental and control class is 0.26 where data values can be considered normal, while the results of the post test experimental group and the control is 8.1 where the normal distribution of data. Class homogeneity test experimental and control of UAS gain value 0.719 where both classes have the variants are homogeneous, homogeneity test grade control and experimental results of the pre-test to get a variant homogeneous, and homogeneous test post-test data from both classes get a homogeneous variant.
