PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA CAI (COMPUTER ASSISTED INSTRUCTION) MATERI POKOK PEMUAIAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA (ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM) UNTUK SISWA KELAS VII DI SMK 17 AGUSTUS 1945 SURABAYA

Pembelajaran IPA fisika materi pemuaian bertujuan agar siswa dapat menjelaskan dan memahami tentang proses pemuaian pada zat, baik zat padat, cair maupun gas. Diperlukannya pengembangan media CAI yang layak dan efektif serta menghasilkan media yang layak dan efektif. CAI dikemas dalam bentuk CD serta ada bahan penyerta. Mengharuskan siswa untuk mengerti dan memahami proses yang terjadi pada benda padat, cair dan gas ketika berubah wujud akibat pemuaian.

Model dan prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu R & D Borg and Gall. Dalam pelaksanaan uji coba dilakukan beberapa tahap, yaitu: review dengan ahli materi dan ahli media, evaluasi dengan uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, uji coba lapangan yaitu dengan kelompok besar, obyek penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa Kelas VII SMP 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya.

Hasil uji coba kepada dua ahli materi yaitu 84% dan uji coba kepada dua ahli media yaitu 91%. Sedangkan hasil uji coba perorangan yaitu 87 %, uji coba kelompok kecil yaitu 85%, dan uji coba kelompok besar yaitu 94%. Hasil uji t memperoleh data 2,602 > 2.042 maka hasil tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Science learning material physics expansion aims for students to explain and understand about the expansion process in substance, whether solid, liquid or gas. The need for the development of media CAI viable and effective and produce a decent and effective media. CAI is an excellent medium as an innovative learning for students can easily understand the material of the expansion. requires students to know and understand the processes that occur in solid, liquid and gas when changing shape due to expansion and CAI media is packaged in a CD along with accompanying materials.

Models and procedures used, namely the development of R & D Borg and Gall. In the implementation of trials carried out in several stages, namely: a review by subject matter experts and media experts, evaluation trials with individual, small group trial, field trial is to a large group, the object of the study was 30 students of class VII SMP August 17, 1945 Surabaya.

The trial results to the two subject matter experts, namely 84% and trials to two media experts, namely 91%. While the results of individual testing that is 87%, small group trial, namely 85%, and a large group trial is 94%. T test results obtained data 2,602> 2,042, the results do show an increase learning outcomes.
