PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA MATERI PENGGUNAAN ZAT ADITIF DALAM MAKANAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 1 SOOKO MOJOKERTO

Materi penggunaan zat aditif dalam makanan merupakan materi yang menggunakan banyak sekali kata istilah dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dari guru mata pelajaran IPA, terdapat permasalahan dalam belajar, yaitu daya minat siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran turun. Siswa cenderung pasif.

Rumusan masalah penelitian ini, diperlukannya penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sooko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, yakni dalam mata pelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalahjenis penelitian True Eksperimen dengan model penelitian yang digunakan adalah control group pre-test post-test, dimana penelitian ini menggunakan kelas kontrol dan eksperimen sebagai objek penelitian. Pada kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Sedangkan kelas kontrol tanpa diberikan perlakuan.

Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan tes. Dari hasil pengumpulan data tersebut, teknik observasi mendapatkan hasil kesepakatan antara observer I dan II. Sedangkan hasil dari teknik tes yang diberikan terhadap 2 kelas, yakni kelas kontrol dan eksperimen, terdapat hasil yang signifikan. Dalam pre-test kelas eksperimen mendapatkan nilai 45,03 sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan nilai 44,09. Hasil rata-rata dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol memiliki selisih yang signifikan. Kelas eksperimen mendapatkan nilai 86,46 sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan nilai 65,15. Sehingga dapat dikatakan terdapat pengaruh terhadap pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw pada kelas VIII.

Data collection techniques using observation and tests. From the results of the data collection, observation techniques to get an agreement between observer I and II. While the results of the testing techniques are given to two classes, namely the control and experimental classes, there is a significant result. In the pre-test experimental group scored 45.03 while the control group scored 44.09. The average yield of the experimental class and control class has a significant difference. Experimental class scores 86.46 while the control group scored 65.15. That is to say there is an influence on the type of learning in class VIII Jigsaw.
