PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA COMPUTER ASSISTED INSTRUCTION (CAI) PADA MATA PELAJARAN KETERAMPILAN KOMPUTER DAN PENGELOLAAN INFORMASI (KKPI) MATERI MENGINSTAL SISTEM OPERASI SOFTWARE WINDOWS 8 SEBAGAI PEDOMAN PRAKTIKUM UNTUK SISWA KELAS X JURUSAN MULTIMEDIA DI SMK TANWIR SURABAYA

Pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media CAI yang layak dan efektif untuk siswa kelas X jurusan multimedia di SMK Tanwir Surabaya. Dari wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan guru mata pelajaran Keterampilam Komputer dan Pengelolaan Informasi (KKPI) Evi Mafidhotul Ilmi, S.Pd. di SMK Tanwir Surabaya ditemukan masalah belajar yang terjadi pada materi menginstal sistem operasi software windows 8 untuk kelas X jurusan multimedia. Nilai siswa dalam 3 tahun terakhir menunjukan banyak siswa lebih dari 50% nilainya berada dibawah KKM. Spesifikasi produk media CAI ini dikemas dalam bentuk CD beserta bahan penyerta yang berisi petunjuk penggunaan dan perawatan media serta RPP bermedia CAI.

Subyek penelitian terdiri dari : (1) Obyek uji coba CAI, siswa kelas X jurusan multimedia di SMK Tanwir Surabaya, (2) 2 ahli materi dan 2 ahli media. Pengembangan ini menggunakan Borg & Gall dalam Sugiyono. Teknik pengumpulan data : (1) Metode wawancara, (2) Metode Angket, (3) Tes. Teknik analisis data : (1) Teknik analisis data wawancara, (2) Teknik analisis data angket, (3) Analisis hasil tes, (4) Validitas & Reliabilitas.

Berdasarkan hasil analis data wawancara Ahli Materi I diperoleh perhitungan nilai sebesar 90% termasuk dalam kategori (sangat baik), Ahli Materi II diperoleh perhitungan nilai sebesar 80% termasuk dalam kategori (baik). Dan Ahli Media I perhitungan nilai sebesar 100% termasuk dalam kategori (sangat baik), Ahli Media II diperoleh perhitungan nilai sebesar 80% termasuk dalam kategori (baik). Sedangkan hasil angket uji coba produk kepada 30 siswa kelas X Jurusan Multimedia di SMK Tanwir Surabaya hasil uji coba perorangan 3 siswa 83% (sangat baik), hasil uji coba kelompok kecil 10 siswa 88%(sangat baik), serta hasilpada uji coba kelompok besar 30 siswa 89% (sangat baik). Dari hasil analisis data hasil test pembelajaran menggunakan media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction)terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dengan pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakan media CAI. Ini dapat dibuktikan berdasarkan perhitungan diatas dengan taraf signifikan 5%, d.b = N-1=30-1=29, sehingga diperoleh yaitu 2,042. Setelah semua data dianalisis ternyata terbukti lebih besar dari yaitu 2,602 > 2,042. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil pretest dengan posttest terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan (M pretest= 64,66M posttest= 83). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction)efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar materi menginstal sistem operasi Software Windows 8 sebagai pedoman praktikum untuk siswa kelas X jurusan multimedia di SMK Tanwir Surabaya.

ASSISTED MEDIA DEVELOPMENT COMPUTER INSTRUCTION (CAI) SUBJECT SKILLS IN COMPUTER AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (KKPI) MATERIALS TO INSTALL OPERATING SYSTEM SOFTWARE WINDOWS 8 PRACTICUM AS GUIDELINES FOR CLASS X DEPARTMENT OF MULTIMEDIA IN SMK TANWIRSURABAYA

This development aims to generate media CAI viable and effective for students of class X multimedia department at SMK Tanwir Surabaya. From the interviews conducted by the researchers and teachers of subjects specific to the skills of Computer and Information Management (KKPI) Evi Mafidhotul Ilmi, S.Pd. SMK Tanwir Surabaya found learning problems that occur on the material to install the operating system Windows 8 software for X-class multimedia department. Scores for students in the last 3 years showed many students more than 50% of its value under the KKM. Specifications CAI media product is packaged in a CD along with accompanying materials that contain instructions for use and maintenance of media CAI media and RPP.

The subjects consisted of: (1) Object CAI trial, the tenth grade students majoring in multimedia in vocational Tanwir Surabaya, (2) 2 2 matter experts and media experts. This development using the Borg & Gall in Sugiyono. Data collection techniques: (1) Method of interviews, (2) Method Questionnaire, (3) Test. Data analysis: (1) interview data analysis techniques, (2) questionnaire data analysis techniques, (3) Analysis of the test results, (4) Validity and Reliability.

Based on the results of expert data analyst interview material I obtained the calculation of the value of 90% included in the category (very good), Expert II material obtained by calculating the value of 80% included in the category (good). Expert Media I calculate the value of 100% is included in the category (very good), Expert Media II obtained by calculating the value of 80% included in the category (good). While the results of the questionnaire testing products to 30 students of class X Department of Multimedia in vocational Tanwir Surabaya test results of individual 3 students 83% (excellent), the test results a small group of 10 students 88% (excellent), as well as the results of the trial group large 30 students 89% (excellent). Data analysis test results of learning using media CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) there are significant differences by learning that do not use the media CAI. This can be evidenced by the above calculation with significant level of 5%, d.b = N-1 = 30-1 = 29, to obtain t_tabel is 2.042. After all the data is analyzed proved t_hitung greater than t_tabel namely 2.602> 2.042. This suggests that the results of the pretest to posttest differences significantly (M = 64,66M pretest posttest = 83). It can be concluded that the CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) effective in improving learning outcomes matter to install the operating system Windows 8 Software as a practical guideline for class X students majoring in multimedia in SMK Tanwir Surabaya.
