PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA MOBILE LEARNING BERBASIS ANDROID TENTANG STRUKTUR DAN FUNGSI SEL SISTEM PENYUSUN JARINGAN REPRODUKSI PELAJARAN BIOLOGI KELAS XI DI SMA NEGERI 3 BOJONEGORO

Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal pengembang di SMA Negeri 3 Bojonegoro, selama kegiatan pembelajaran Biologi materi struktur dan fungsi sel sistem penyusun jaringan reproduksi, siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru, dikarenakan materi struktur dan fungsi sel sistem penyusun jaringan reproduksi berisi proses reproduksi manusia yang sifatnya tidak dapat diamati siswa secara langsung. Sedangkan guru menjelaskan proses tersebut hanya secara lisan. Terbatasnya sumber belajar siswa dan guru yang hanya berpedoman pada lembar kerja siswajuga menjadi penghambat. Oleh karena itu, guru Biologi masih mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar pada siswa. Berdasarkan beberapa masalah tersebut, mendasari pengembang untuk mengembangkan media mobile learning berbasis android di SMA Negeri 3 Bojonegoro.

Pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media mobile learning berbasis android tentang struktur dan fungsi sel sistem penyusun jaringan reproduksi pada mata pelajaran Biologi yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Research Research and Development (R&D), dikarenakan setiap langkahnya jelas dan efisien dalam pelaksanaannya.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) sampai dengan tahap delapan diperoleh data kualitatif hasil uji validasi, yaitu ahli materi diperoleh sangat setuju dan tanpa revisi, ahli media diperoleh sangat setuju dan tanpa revisi, hasil kuantitatif uji coba perorangan diperoleh 95,6% (kategori sangat baik), uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh 95,6% (kategori sangat baik), hasil uji coba kelompok besar (lapangan) diperoleh 89,1% (kategori sangat baik). Dari hasil penghitungan pretest dan postest menghasilkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan media Mobile Learning. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media Mobile Learning berbasis android layak dan efektif dalam proses belajar mengajar pada mata pelajaran Biologi tentang struktur dan fungsi sel sistem penyusun jaringan reproduksi kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Bojonegoro.

Abstract

Based on the developer observation at Senior High school 3 Bojonegoro, during learning Biology subject about structure and the function of cell systems compiler of reproductive tissue, the students have difficulty in understanding the materi that presented by the teacher, because the materi about structure and the function of cell systems compiler of reproductive tissue contains human reproduction processes that are not observable students directly, as occurs physiologically in the human body. While the teacher explains the processes only described verbally. And the limited learning resources students and teachers are only based on student worksheet, while the student worksheets themselves are not a lot of illustrations that can explain the process. Therefore, Biology teachers are still experiencing difficulties in the process of learning in students. Based on some of those problems, the underlying developers to develop media Mobile Learning based Android on Senior High School 3 Bojonegoro.

This development aims to produce mobile learning media based on Android about the structure and the function of cell systems compiler of reproductive tissue in the subject of Biology which is expected to improve student learning outcomes. The development method used is the model of development of Research Research and Development (R & D), because each step is clear and efficient implementation.

Based on the results of research in the Research and Development (R&D) to stage eight data showed qualitative results of the validation test, the professional person in materi obtained excellent strongly agree and without revision, the professional person in media obtained excellent agreement and without revision, while the quantitative results the individual trying report obtained 95.6% (excellent category), the trying report of small group obtained 95.6% (excellent category), the trying report of great group (field) obtained 89.1% (excellent category). Based on the data analysis of the average value of post test and pre-test produce Ho rejected and Ha accepted. It can be concluded that students learning outcomes have improved after using Mobile Learning media. So it can be concluded that the development of Android-based Mobile Learning media is feasible and effective in teaching and learning process on Biology subjects about structure and the function of cell systems compiler of reproductive tissue in the XI grade of SMA 3 Bojonegoro.
