Abstract

Abstrak
Sarana dan prasarana yang ada di SMP Negeri 29 Surabaya mendukung proses pembelajaran karena adanya
LCD, Speaker, dan Lab. Dalam proses pembelajaran guru mata pelajaran IPA menggunakan metode ceramah dan buku
paket. Namun kenyataannya yang terjadi dilapangan menunjukan bahwa siswa yang ada dikelas VIII mengalami
permasalahan pada hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA. Dibuktikan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII pada tahun
sebelumnya yaitu 52,32 kurang dari standar Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang telah ditetapkan yakni 78.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pemanfaatan media computer assisted instruction materi pembentukan
bayangan pada cermin dan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan pemanfaatan media computer
assisted instruction materi pembentukan bayangan pada cermin terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa dari hasil observasi guru dalam
memanfaatkan media computer assited instruction maka diperoleh hasil rerata 74.375% sedangkan hasil observasi
siswa dalam memanfaatkan media computer assited instruction diperoleh hasil rerata 75% apabila dikonsultasikan
dengan kriteria penilaian maka tergolong Baik. Sedangkan hasil tes yang diolah dengan perhitungan Anava pretest
diperoleh 2.120 < 2.31 dan Anava posttest diperoleh 17.656 > 2.31. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media computer
assisted instruction materi pembentukan bayangan pada cermin berpengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP
Negeri 29 Surabaya.

AbstractFacilities and infrastructure that exist in SMP Negeri 29 Surabaya support the learning process because it has
the LCD, Speaker, and Lab. In the learning process science, teachers use lecture methods and textbooks as a medium.
However, what happened in the field shows that students in class VIII SMP Negeri 29 Surabaya experienced problems
on science raport of subject creating shadow in mirror. This is evidenced from the average learning outcomes of
students of class VIII in the previous year that was 52.32 less than the standard Minimum Criteria of Completeness
(KKM) that has been set that is 78. The purpose of this research to know the process of utilization of computer assisted
instruction media of shadow forming material in mirror and to know whether there is significant influence of utilization
of computer assisted instruction media of image formation material in mirror to result of student learning of class VIII.
This research uses observation and test methods. Based on the results of research by utilizing computer assisted
instruction media which is material formation of shadow on mirror It is known that from result of observation of teacher
in utilizing media of computer assited instruction done by observer hence obtained result average 74.375% while the
results of student observation in utilizing the media computer assited instruction made by observers then obtained the
average of 75% then if the results are consulted with the criteria of assessment then pertained Good. While the test
results are processed with the calculation of Anava pretest obtained 2.120 <2.31 while Anava posttest obtained 17.656>
2.31. This shows that the computer assisted instructional media of shadow forming material in the mirror has an effect
on the result of the students learning in grade VIII SMP Negeri 29 Surabaya.
