Mata pelajaran geografi materi dinamika atmosfer berisi tentang konsep dan penjelasan. Dengan mempelajari materi dinamika atmosfer siswa mampu menguasai tentang struktur lapisan atmosfer, unsur-unsur cuaca dan iklim, klasifikasi tipe iklim, ciri iklim di Indonesia, dan dampak dari perubahan iklim global. Pada kenyataannya masih terdapat banyak siswa yang belum memahaminya. Untuk itu diperlukannya pengembangan media Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) pada mata pelajaran geografi materi dinamika atmosfer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui kelayakan media Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) yang dikembangkan, dan (2) Mengetahui keefektifan media Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) yang dikembangkan pada mata pelajaran geografi materi dinamika atmosfer kelas X IPS di SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) Brog and Gall dalam Sugiyono. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket, dan tes. Wawancara digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang studi pendahuluan untuk menemukan masalah belajar yang terdapat di SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro, angket digunakan untuk menentukan kelayakan media dan materi, dan tes digunakan untuk menentukan keefektifan media berdasarkan pengukuran hasil belajar siswa. Terdapat 2 teknik analisis data yaitu teknik analisis data angket menggunakan rumus presentase dan teknik analisis data tes mengggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi I dan II mendapat kategori Sangat Baik dengan presentase 96,43%, ahli media I dan II mendapat kategori Sangat Baik dengan presentase 96,43%. Sedangkan hasil uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil, dan kelompok besar menujukkan bahwa media Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) layak digunakan pada mata pelajaran geografi materi dinamika atmosfer. Hasil analisis data pre-test dan post test dilakukan pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen menggunakan analisis data uji test sehingga diperoleh thitung sebesar 15,8. Kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan menggunakan table distribusi uji t dengan taraf signifikasi 5% dan derajat pembagi (db) = (35+35)-2 = 68 maka diperoleh ttabel sebesar 1,995. Didapatkan thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel (15,8 > 1,995). Sehingga dapat dikatakan media Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran. Dengan demikian setelah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan maka media Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) pada mata pelajaran geografi materi dinamika atmosfer layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran kelas X IPS di SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro.

The subjects of geographical atmosphere dynamics materials contain about concepts and explanations. By studying the material atmosphere dynamics of the students are able to master about the structure of atmospheric layers, weather and climate elements, climate type classification, climate feature in Indonesia, and the impact of global climate change. In fact there are still many students who do not understand it. For that, the development of Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) media on the subject of geography of the material atmosphere dynamics. The purpose of this research is (1) to determine the feasibility of the Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) media being developed, and (2) to determine the effectiveness of Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) media developed in the geographical subjects of the material dynamics atmosphere of class X IPS at Senior High School 2 Bojonegoro. The development model used is the development model of Research and Development (R&D) Brog and Gall in Sugiyono. Data collection methods using interviews, polls, and tests. Interviews were used to collect data on preliminary studies to find study issues found in the Bojonegoro State High School 2, polls were used to determine media feasibility and material, and tests were used to determine the effectiveness of media By measuring student learning outcomes. There are two data analysis techniques that are data analysis technique of poll using formula percentage and data analysis technique test use test-T. Based on the results of data analysis, the results of the feasibility test by material I and II got a very good category with a percentage of 96,43%, media experts I and II got the category very good with a percentage of 96,43%. While the results of individual trials, small groups, and large groups show that Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) media is worthy of use in the geographical subjects of atmospheric dynamics material. The results of data analysis pre-test and post test are conducted in the control class and experiment class using test test data so that obtained thitung amounted to 15,8. Then consulted by using a test distribution table with a significance level of 5% and degrees divider (db) = (35 + 35)-2 = 68 then obtained a this of 1,995. The thitung is obtained greater than the this (15,8 > 1,995). The Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) Media is said to be effectively used in learning. As such, after the development research, Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) media on the subject of geography of atmospheric dynamics is feasible and effectively used in learning grade X IPS at Senior High School 2 Bojonegoro.
