EFEKTIVITAS MEDIA VIDEO DENGAN PENDEKATAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA MATERI LETAK, LUAS, BATAS DAN KARAKTERISTIK WILAYAH INDONESIA UNTUK KELAS XI IPS SMA NEGERI 3 BOJONEGORO

Penelitian ini mengkaji terkait penelitian dan pengembangan suatu media pembelajaran berupa video
animasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari media video animasi melalui model
pembelajaran problem based learning pada materi letak, luas, batas, dan karakteristik wilayah
Indonesia. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 3 Bojonegoro dengan jumlah
31 siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan menggunakan uji t-test. Dari
hasil penelitian menggunakan uji t-test menunjukkan bahwa t hitung < ttabel-22,44 < 2,045 atau nilai sig
< 0,05 yaitu 0,000, dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikansi nilai peserta
didik sebelum dan sesudah bahan ajar video animasi.Selain itu keefektifan penggunann video animasi
juga ditunjukka dari adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai peserta didik yang sebelumnya 38,3 menjadi 97,00.
Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi dengan pendekatan Problem Based
Learning materi Letak, Luas, Batas, dan Karakteristik Wilayah Indonesia ini dapat meningkatkan nilai
peserta didik.

Abstract
This study examines the research and development of a learning media in the form of animated videos.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of animated video media through a problem
based learning model on the material of location, area, boundaries, and characteristics of the territory of
Indonesia. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 3 Bojonegoro with a
total of 31 students. Analysis of the data used in the study using the t-test. From the results of the study
using the t-test, it shows that t count < t table -22.44 < 2.045 or sig value <0.05, which is 0.000, from
these results indicate that there is a significant difference in student scores before and after the animated
video teaching materials. The effectiveness of using animated videos is also shown from the difference
in the average value of students from 38.3 to 97.00. So it can be concluded that the use of animated
videos with a Problem Based Learning approach to the material of Location, Area, Boundaries, and
Characteristics of the Indonesian Territory can increase the value of students.
