Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Sosiodrama Pokok Bahasan Gempa Bumi Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Mata Pelajaran IPS di SMPN 42 Surabaya

Abstract

Kondisi yang terjadi dalam proses belajar mengajar adalah guru lebih dominan dalam kelas. Sehingga siswa akan cenderung pasif karena saat pembelajaran, guru hanya menjelaskan materi kemudian memberi tugas dan menilai hasil pekerjaan siswa. Dan hasil belajar siswa tidak memuaskan. Tujuan penerapan metode sosiodrama ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran proses penerapan metode sosiodrama dan melihat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII di SMPN 42 Surabaya. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Menggunakan dua kelas yakni eksperimen dan kontrol. Dengan menggunakan metode tes, observasi dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Melalui observasi, juga diketahui bahwa guru membimbing dan memotivasi siswa dan siswa aktif serta antusias saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Dan dari hasil angket, siswa menyatakan bahwa metode sosiodrama menarik, dapat membuat mereka bersosioalisasi dengan teman dan bimbingan guru juga maksimal selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung.

Abstract

Conditions that occur in the learning process is more dominant teacher in the classroom . So that students will tend to be passive because while learning , teachers only explain the material and then assign tasks and assess students' work . And student learning outcomes are not satisfactory . The purpose of the application of this method is sociodramas to provide an overview of the application process and methods sociodramas see improving student learning outcomes in class VII SMP 42 Surabaya . The design of this research is quantitative . Using the two experimental and control classes . By using the method of testing , observation and questionnaires . Based on the results of the study , known improvement of student learning outcomes . The average value of the experimental class better when compared with the control class . Through observation , it is also known that the teacher guide and motivate the students and the students active and enthusiastic when learning takes place . And the results of the questionnaire , the students stated that the method sociodramas attractive , can make them bersosioalisasi with friends and guidance teacher are also maximum during the learning process takes place .
