PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA CAI (COMPUTER ASSISTED INSTRUCTION)PADA MATA PELAJARAN SENI BUDAYA MATERI MUSIK ANSAMBELKELAS VII DI SMPN 16 SURABAYA

Abstract

Instruction) untuk siswa kelas VII pada mata
pelajaran Seni Budaya materi “Musik Ansambel” di SMPN 16 Surabaya. Fakta yang didapatkan bahwa pada
mata pelajaran Seni Budaya materi Musik Ansambel, siswa kesulitan memahami materi yang bersifat verbalistis
dan siswa lebih senang materi yang bersifat praktik. Musik Ansambel artinya bermain musik secara berkelompok
dengan menggunakan alat musik tertentu untuk menciptakan instrument sederhana. Alat-alat musik tradisional
tidak mungkin didatangkan pada sekolah dan tidak pernah dijumpai oleh siswa.
Metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya Materi Musik Ansambel sebelumnya
menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan ceramah. Pengembang kemudian melakukan pengembangan media
pembelajaran dalam bentuk komputer pembelajaran untuk membantu proses belajar agar terjadi peningkatan
hasil belajar siswa kelas VII di SMPN 16 Surabaya. Metode pembelajaran yang dilakukan di SMPN 16 dikemas
dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang bersifat kongkret dan mudah dipahami oleh siswa sehingga
menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa khususnya siswa kelas VII di SMPN 16 Surabaya.
Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara terstruktur kepada ahli materi dan media serta agket
kepada siswa. Jenis data yang diperoleh berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data uji coba kepada dua ahli
materi mendapat hasil 97.87% dan uji coba kepada dua ahli media mendapat hasil 91.61%. Uji keefisienan media
menunjukkan angka 96.77% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, artinya media CAI Musik Ansambel layak dan
efisien untuk digunakan siswa dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract
Development is to create activities / make a product / media that can be used to overcome the problem of
learners. CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) media is a system for the delivery of content-based lessons are
lessons microprocessor designed and programmed into the system through the CAI (Computer Assisted
Instruction) media, the material becomes more attractive packaged in the learning process. CAI instructional
media can facilitate teacher / educator deliver learning materials to students, so that students are more interested
and motivated to learn. Based on research conducted at Surabaya 16 Junior High School, the purpose of this
research is to produce a product in the form of instructional media in the form of CAI (Computer Assisted
Instruction) for seventh grade students in the subject matter Culture Art "Musical Ensemble" in Surabaya 16
Junior High School. The fact that it was found that the material subjects Culture Art Music Ensemble, the
difficulties students understand the material that is verbal and students enjoy the material that is practice. Music
ensemble means playing music in groups by using certain instruments to create a simple instrument. Traditional
musical instruments may not be brought on school and never encountered by students.
Learning methods used in Cultural Arts Music Ensemble materials previously used methods of
demonstration and lecture. The developer then do the development of instructional media in the form of
computer learning to help the learning process so that an increase in class VII student learning outcomes in
Surabaya 16 Junior High School. The method of learning is done in Surabaya 16 Junior High School is packed
by using media that are concrete and easily understood by students so that foster the spirit of learning, especially
students of class VII student at Surabaya 16 Junior High School.
Collecting data using a structured interview to experts and media material as well as a questionnaire to
students. The type of data that is obtained in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. Trial data to get the
results of two expert material 97.87% and the test results of two expert media got 91.61%. Test the efficiency of
the media showed 96.77% figure is included in the excellent category, meaning the media CAI Music Ensemble
feasible and efficient for students to use in learning.
